Y/N woke up by the sweet smell of [F/B] as his eyes lazily opened with a yawn escaping his lips. He sat up and stretched before standing up and walking to where the cause of the [F/B] smell was.
Once he was in the kitchen he immediately went to sit by the dinner table, waiting till his breakfast was done. "Good Morning, bud." A honey smooth deep voice called out from behind the kitchen island, "How'd you sleep?" Y/N turned his head towards the voice and mumbled a "good" tiredly rubbing his eyes.
"I'm surprised you're still tired given the fact that you fell asleep during movie night last night" Y/N's Dad chuckled, filling a plate with the delicious food and placing it in front of Y/N. "And as promised, your favourite breakfast."
Y/N smiled at his dad and started eating but getting up in the middle of his meal to get something to drink before resuming his food. His dad went back to the kitchen to make himself something to eat as well as throwing out some food that had gone bad when he found it. "You going to hang out with Larry and Sal again?" He asked, chopping up some fruit.
The teen chewed and swallowed his food before answering,: "Bold of you to assume that I won't hang out with them." He took his last bite and placed his dishes in the sink. "By the way, where's mom?" "Oh, she got called in for work."
Y/N rolled his eyes, hopping onto the kitchen island. "I know that she has to work and all but when does she have time for us? She wasn't there for movie night and she's not here for breakfast either?" He complained, crossing his arms in front of his chest.
His Dad sighed, placing down the knife for the fruits as he looked at Y/N. "Look, we keep having these conversations but it never leads to anything. She has to be at work most of the time because being a nurse isn't easy and that's that. We can't change it and she can't either." He said.
"And I get that. What I don't get is why she isn't even trying to change it. They can't always need her" Y/N hissed, getting down from the kitchen island and walking back into his room where he gets ready to go to the Apartments.
Y/N finally made it to the basement of the Apartments and immediately walked to Larry's room where Larry and Sal had already been waiting for him. "Hi guys, what are you talking about?" Y/N greets, closing the bedroom door behind himself. He grabs Larry's stool he used to paint on and carries it to the other two to sit near them as Larry answered,: "Not much honestly. Sally face here keeps having those nightmares"
The [H/C] haired boy turns to Sal who looks right back at him. "Still? Have you tried the methods I've told you?" Sal nods "Yea, but they just keep coming back. I really think it's this building. I've already told Larry but there's something off about it."
Larry leaned into his bean bag a bit more as he spoke, "You know my take on this topic. Just haven't seen anything myself..." he paused. "but..." Sal turned his full attention to Larry now "But what?" He asked, tilting his head for more emotion to show.
Larry thinks for a bit before deciding on something "well, we've known each other for a while now. I have to show you something, Sal" He said as he stood up, Sal and Y/N doing the same. "Come on." Larry ushered, walking to the other end of his room where stairs started to go up.
"Ready?" Larry asked Sal as all three of the buys grabbed some stuff to keep themselves warm from the snow lying outside. Sal nodded and with that they went up the stairs and out to behind the building. Larry walked away from the building followed by Y/N, who already knew where Larry was guiding them, and Sal.
When they all came to a halt Sal looked up at the big Tree house in awe "Whoa! How come you never told me about this?" He asked. Larry just stared ahead as he answered Sal's question, "It's where I go when I need to be alone. It's my fortress of solitude." "Awesome." Sal commented.
