Once Larry arrived at apartment 504, Sal immediately made his way to the bathroom of said apartment saying, "Come on, she's in the bathroom" gesturing to his friends to come along.
Larry gave Y/N a confused and creeped out look. "She?" Larry asked, raising an eyebrow. Sal just shook his head, not knowing how to explain what he meant. "Just come on." And with that, Sal disappeared into the bathroom. Larry gave Y/N one last glance before shrugging the weird feeling of being watched off and followed Sal into the bathroom, with Y/N right behind him.
The first thing Y/N did when he came into the bathroom was hide his nose and mouth from the strong smell of mold and old toilet water. "Smells like shit in here" he blured out, his voice muffled by his hand.
The taller boy agreed with a nod, "Yeah, and these 5th floor rooms have seen better days asw––" "SHHH!" Sal interrupted the small conversation, startling the other boys.
"What?" said Larry in a now much quieter tone. Sal looked into the middle of the room saying, "Just wait a minute...". "Megan? Are you here?" Sal called out into the room. But the only thing that was replying was silence.
Sal tried calling out another time, "Hello?" Again, silence. "I want you to meet my friends, Y/N and Larry." he added after a few more minutes of silence and once again, the only reply he got was even more silence.
"I don't think there's anything in here, dude." Larry said, turning to Sal but Sal just shook his head. "She might be afraid. She can be pretty shy." he said, " Though, I haven't been able to get her to come out in a while now. I hope she's okey."
"So you come up to this moldy bathroom to talk to a dead girl?" Larry asked, raising an eyebrow. " How often do you come up here?" "Maybe there's some kind of problem between us and her in a spiritual kind of way?" Y/N chimed in.
Sal thought about what Y/N said and spoke up, "I've been able to talk to her a few times but like I said, she hasn't been around lately." He mentioned, shrugging as he does.
"..." Larry gave Sal a look. "I'm not crazy, Larry! I'm going to prove this to you." Sal exclaimed to which Larry put up his hands. "Hey, I never said you were crazy, man. As weird as this is, I believe you, okey. You're one of my best buds and if this helps at all with finding my dad, then I'm all for it." he said calmly.
Y/N watched the two talk, switching to focus on Sal who let out a frustrated sigh before he spoke, "I really thought we'd be able to talk to her today. I just had this feeling."
"Dude! Know who you should talk with? Todd." Y/N turned back to look at Larry in confusion. "Todd? I thought he's a huge science slash physics lover. Like, the type of dude who only believes in facts rather than theories most of the time. What makes you think he would help when we talk about ghosts?"
Larry shook his head, smiling as he spoke, "You said it yourself. He only believes in facts most of the time. He's also into this supernatural stuff like Sal is. I bet he could and would help somehow."
The Y/Hc boy let out an understanding 'oh' sound while Sal spoke up as well, "Todd? Really? Huh, I never expected that he would believe in that stuff. He always seems so..." he trailed off.
"Normal?" "Rational?" Y/N and Larry both blurred out at the same time, gaining an almost unseeable smile underneath Sal's prosthetic as he let out a small giggle. "Ha, yeah I guess so. Okey, well I'll go talk to him and see what I can find out." Sal announced, pointing behind himself.
Larry nodded "Alright, I'm gonna head back downstairs to make sure my mom's alright. Let me know if you find anything" he responded. After both of the boys said what they were gonna do it was Y/N turn to do the same. "While you two do that, I'm gonna go to The Diner my Dad works at. I'm craving caffeine right about now"
