"Let's go! I'm going to kill that hyena if it's the last thing I do!" Mkali shouts at the two combined Lion Guards.
Fuli runs in front of him and cuts him off. "Mkali! Stop and think for a second! I know that you're angry. You want revenge. But what is that going to do at the end of the day?" Fuli asks the son of her leader.
Mkali clenches his fists. "This war has been going on for too long! The only way that we can end it, the only way that I can make sure that something like that never happens again is if I kill him. They won't expect it! Now is as good of a time as any. They won't be expecting it." Mkali tells Fuli. "This is a tactical move. Does emotion play into it, sure. But this is a strategic move that is long overdue." Fuli is shocked, but she knows that what Mkali is saying is true. "I am going to make him suffer! If you guys don't want to join me, fine! I'll kill them all by myself!" Everyone is shocked at what Mkali is saying.
There is silence amongst the group until Fuli says, "I may not agree with it, but you're right. We'll join you." Mkali nods at Fuli, then leads the charge to attack Uovu's army when they least expect it.
They get to the edge of the hyena territory, and they hear Uovu talking to another hyena.
"Are you sure that he won't attack us? You did kill his parents." The hyena asks Uovu.
"They will be too busy mourning their deaths to attack us right now." Mkali gets angry, and he jumps on Uovu and stabs him in the kidney with his claws. The hyena goes to help, but Mkali snarls at him.
"If you come one step closer, my roar will be the last thing you ever hear!" Mkali warns.
"I need backup!" The hyena yells. Uovu's army comes running, and they are looking significantly smaller than they had in the earlier battle. They now only outnumbered the guard 3 to 1.
"Until the Pridelands end!" Mkali shouts.
"Lion Guard defend!" The big guard shouts. The Lion Guard holds off the army, letting through Kiburi and Dogo.
"So, parents are dead, huh?" Kiburi asks the leader of the guard.
"You are more stupid than you look if you think that a fall is enough to kill them!" Mkali growls. Uovu gets up.
"Give it up, Mkali! You're outnumbered 3 to 1!" He says, holding his side.
"More like 2 1/2." Mkali says. The crocodile, jackal, and hyena fight as well as they ever have against the lion, but they are no match for an angry Mkali. Uovu is very bloody at this point because Mkali is more interested in making him hurt rather than killing him. Dogo lunges at Mkali, but his neck lands on Mkali's unsheathed claws. Mkali throws Dogo's lifeless body onto the ground. Kiburi freezes in shock. This would be his downfall as Mkali turned around and slashed Kiburi's throat. Mkali then turns to a very bloody Uovu, who puts his hands up in defense. Mkali kicks Uovu in the side, which causes him to cough up blood. Mkali then slashes at Uovu's face.
"Please! Just kill me already!" Uovu begs.
"I'll get to it when I feel like it." Mkali then grabs one of Uovu's legs and kicks it, breaking the leg.
"Please! Enough already!" Uovu begs again. Mkali picks Uovu up and slams him against the cliffside. He then puts his foot on Uovu's throat and pushes down.
"Any last words?" Mkali asks angrily. "Didn't think so!" Mkali doesn't even give him a chance to respond. He lifts his foot and rips his trachea out, Vitani's signature way of killing someone.
"Ono!" Mkali calls out for the Egret.
"Yes, Mkali?" Ono asks, flying over him.
"I'm going to use the roar! Get everyone out of the way!" Mkali instructs. Ono does just as Mkali says.
Once given the all-clear by Ono, Mkali unleashes the roar, being careful to jot open up a crater like he did last time. He sends the remaining hyenas, jackals, and crocodiles flying, not that there was that many left anyway. Suddenly, the volcano that they are by starts to light up inside.
"Mkali." A voice calls from inside the volcano. Mkali signals to his guard to follow him into the volcano. The big guard all follows Mkali's lead into the volcano. What Mkali and the rest of the guard see shocks them. There is a lioness head made of fire in the volcano. It is one that the members of Kion's Lion Guard recognize right away.
"Well done, grandson!" The lioness says. "Very impressive showing back there!"
"Who even are you!?" Mkali demands.
"Oh, where are my manners? I am Zira, your grandmother on your mother's side." Zira explains. "And you have proven yourself worthy of finishing my mission of reclaiming the Pridelands in the name of Scar!"
"I'll never join you! My father dedicated his life to ridding the world of you!" Mkali responds.
"Oh, my sweet child. I wasn't asking." Zira says. Mkali looks at the guard with confusion. "Ushari! Now!" Zira yells. Mkali looks back at Zira, just in time to see a snake bite him over his left eye. Mkali collapses on the ground, writhing in pain.
"Ushari!" Bunga yells, then he pins the snake. Mkali stands up to face Zira, revealing a bloody scar over his left eye.
"Ahh. You are just like Scar now." Zira says after seeing the scar.
"Never compare me to -" Mkali collapses on the ground and screams in pain as he can feel the snake venom coursing through him.
"Finding it hard to think? My venom has a tendency to do that." Ushari says before Bunga punches him.
"Now, I will ask again. Reclaim the Pridelands in Scar's name, or roar me, and the Lion Guard, out of existence!" Zira tells Mkali. Mkali gets up and thinks to himself.
"You know what, Zira? I choose neither." Mkali says to Zira. "I wasn't alive during your reign of terror, and I'm not a victim of everything you've done. So I am going to do the thing that my father couldn't." Zira has a puzzled look on her face. "I forgive you." Mkali tells Zira.
"What!? No! This can't be!" Zira starts to panic. Mkali summons the Elders, who then start a rain storm.
"You're doomed, Mkali! Your fate is sealed, and you will kill everyone and everything that you love!" Zira shouts before she gets rained out of existence.
"Zira's plan failed!?" Ushari gasped. Ushari broke loose from Bunga's grip, and Ushari lunged at Mkali. Mkali sensed that he was about to do that, so he dodged out of the way at the perfect moment, and Ushari fell into the magma mere seconds before the rain hardened it into igneous rock.
"Are you alright, bro?" Koda asks his cousin. "That's a nasty scar."
"I'll live. Let's go back to Priderock and tell everyone the good news." The guard walked pasta watering hole. Mkali's scar shot up in pain, and he shot a hand to cover his eye. He looks at his reflection in the watering hole.
"Woah. I do look like Scar." Mkali muttered.
"Yo! Mkali! Are you coming?" Koda asks.
"Am I going to end up like Scar? No, I can't! I've dedicated my life to fighting evil." Mkali thinks to himself. Koda sees that Mkali is shaking his head.
"Are you sure you're good, Mkali?" Koda asks his cousin again. Mkali suddenly loses control and unleashes the roar on his cousin. The guard all gasped.
"What did I just do!? What did I just do!?" Mkali asks desperately, looking down at his shaking hands.
Fuli runs over to Mkali. "We're taking you to Makini. Right now."

Part 5 is in the books. I know that there is a huge plot hole in the story right now, so I am going to explain. Ushari got tired of getting caught in the middle of fights that the guard always won. So he took Makini's staff to bring back Zira via ritual. Hence, Makini looking for her staff early on in the last part of the story. Then, the roar that Ushari needed to complete the ritual was courtesy of Kion during the two year time skip. Zira and Ushari waited for the moment to create Scar 2.0, plan B since Scar 2.0 plan A (aka Kovu) didn't work out in Zira's favor. Unfortunately, Scar 2.0 just so happens to be protagonist Mkali. Those of you who watched TLG Season 3 probably have a pretty good idea of what's going to happen next. Anyways, see you guys in the next one.
