Beomgyu's POV
I slowly opened my eyes, the sunlight filtering through the curtains and casting a warm glow over the room. I felt a pleasant ache in my body, a reminder of the night before. I turned my head to the side and saw Yeonjun lying next to me, still asleep, looking peaceful and beautiful.I watched him for a moment, admiring the way the sunlight played across his features. He looked younger like that, vulnerable in his sleep. I couldn’t help but smile as memories of the night before came flooding back to me.I leaned over to place a soft kiss on his lips, thinking that he was still asleep, but to my surprise, his eyes fluttered open as soon as my lips touched his.Yeonjun looked up at me, his eyes still hazy with sleep, but a smile tugged at the corners of his mouth. "Mmm, good morning to you too," he mumbled, his voice gravelly.I felt a blush spreading across my cheeks, realizing that he had caught me in the act. I tried to play it cool and gave him a sheepish grin. "I couldn't resist," I admitted, my tone lighthearted. He chuckled softly and reached out to touch my cheek, his fingers tracing a path down to my jaw. "No need to apologize," he said, his voice still rough. "I don't mind morning kisses."The look in his eyes softened as he continued to caress my face, his thumb rubbing over my lower lip gently. "In fact, maybe you should wake me up like that more often," he suggested, a hint of a smirk playing on his lips.My cheeks grew even warmer as he continued to look at me, his gaze making me feel both shy and flattered at the same time. I chuckled softly, feeling a little flustered. "Is that a request or a demand?" I asked, trying to sound cheeky. He pulled me closer, his arm wrapping around my waist and drawing me in. "A demand," he said, his voice dropping to a lower octave that sent a shiver down my spine. "I want to be woken up like this every morning."I melted against him, resting my head on his chest and feeling the steady beat of his heart. The heat from his body, the scent of his skin, the feel of his arm around me... all of it made my heart flutter. "I suppose I could make that a habit," I mumbled into his skin.He stroked my hair gently, his fingers running through the locks, causing a pleasant shiver to run down my spine. "Good," he murmured, his voice a deep rumble. "Because I could definitely get used to waking up to your beautiful face."I felt my cheeks flush at his words, my heart swelling with affection. I buried my face into his chest, trying to hide my reaction. "You can be such a charmer sometimes, you know that?" I mumbled, my voice muffled against his skin.He chuckled, the vibration from his chest sending more shivers down my spine. He bent his head and buried his nose in my hair, inhaling deeply. "Only sometimes?" he asked, his tone carrying a hint of teasing.I slapped his chest lightly in mock offense, pulling away to look up at him with a mock glare. "Don’t get cocky," I warned, though the effect was ruined by the smile that tugged at the corners of my mouth.I stretched lazily, feeling the pleasant ache in my muscles from the night before. I looked at Yeonjun, who was still lying beside me, his eyes following my movements. "Come on," I said, nudging his shoulder. "Let's get up and get some breakfast. I'm starving."Yeonjun groaned softly, burying his face in the pillow. "Do we have to get up right now?" he mumbled, sounding like a petulant child. "Can't we stay here just a little longer?"I rolled my eyes, trying to suppress a grin. He could be so ridiculously clingy sometimes, but it was endearing. "No, we need to eat," I insisted, giving his shoulder another firm nudge. "Up, Junnie, or you'll be grumpy all day."
He finally relented, pushing himself up into a sitting position and running a hand through his disheveled hair. "Fine," he said, his voice still a little whiny. "But only if you agree to make me some coffee. I need caffeine to function in the mornings."He looked at me with a fond smile, still a bit groggy from sleep. "You know, you kind of remind me of a cub," he said, his voice soft. I raised an eyebrow, feeling both curious and intrigued. "A cub?" I repeated, trying to hold back a smile. He nodded, his gaze softening with affection. "Yeah, a cub," he continued, his fingers playing with a strand of my hair. "You're small and cute, and you have this innocent air about you. It's adorable, really."I couldn't help but grin at his words, feeling both flattered and a little embarrassed. "So, you're calling me cute now?" I asked, attempting to sound nonchalant but failing miserably. He chuckled, the sound low and warm. "Of course I am," he replied, taking my hand and intertwining our fingers. "You're cute, and I'm going to call you 'cub' from now on."I felt my cheeks heat up at his declaration, the nickname both endearing and a little embarrassing. "Cub, huh?" I repeated, trying to act nonchalant. "That's a bit cringe, don't you think?"He laughed, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "It's not cringe," he argued, his grip on my hand tightening slightly. "It's cute. Just like you."Despite my half-hearted objections, I couldn't deny that I secretly enjoyed the pet name. "Fine," I said, rolling my eyes. "You can call me 'cub' if you want. But don't expect me to call you anything cheesy in return."He chuckled, shaking his head slightly. "Actually, you already gave me a nickname," he said, his eyes sparkling with mirth. "You called me 'Junnie.' And I like it."I couldn't help but feel a flutter in my chest as he said that. I hadn't thought much about the nickname "Junnie" when I said it, but hearing him say that he liked it made me feel a little flustered. "You...you like it?" I asked, my voice a little quieter than usual. He nodded, a soft smile on his face. "Yeah, I do," he said, his fingers tracing a path down my arm in a gentle caress. "It sounds...cute, coming from you." I blushed and we finally managed to pull ourselves out of bed, reluctantly leaving the warmth and comfort of the bedroom behind, and after getting fresh I led the way to the kitchen, feeling a pang of hunger in my stomach. "You sit down, I'll make us something to eat," I said, gesturing for him to take a seat at the table."You know how to cook?" He asked. "I mean I am capable of making breakfast, who isn't?" I said as I got some ingredients out of the fridge. He hummed at my answer and I started cooking some eggs, as I was frying some eggs I felt a pair of arms rapp around my waist."How long is it gonna be." He asked placing his chin on my shoulder. I felt butterflies in my stomach because of his actions."Just five more minutes." I said tryna keep it cool.
While we were having breakfast I couldn't help but wonder, What are we? So I asked him a bit hesitant at first. "Yeonjun...um..what are we." A bit nervous, hopefully he doesn't just want me for my body, right?. "What do you want us to be?" He asked with a smirk on his face. "Umm..I-i do-n't know?" (Or do I) I said stuttering a bit. "Would you be my boyfriend ?" He asked out of the blue making me a bit shocked." Umm..." I didn't know what to say, I mean I do like him but we don't know eachother other too well and it's not like I wanna say no it's just that I would like to get to know him first and take things a bit slow, and he seemed to understand my nervousness and said "Oh i-i am so sorry I-i shouldn't have said that, what about we get to know each other first and I can take you out on dates and stuff, and we can hang out and be comfortable with us being around each other, how about that?" He asked with a smile, it was like he read my mind cause that was exactly what I wanted to do before being in a relationship with him, so I can be a good partner. "That sounds perfect." I said with a grin and looking at him with heart eyes.
Gosh what are you doing to me Choi yeonjun.
