| Chapter 16 |
Cozy TracksuitMY HEAD SNAPS up out of where it was rested in my lap when the door flies open and bashes off the wall.
Shadow comes into the room with a livid expression on his face. His eyes trail down my expression, stopping at my cheeks where there are undoubtedly streaks from my now dried tears.
He doesn't stop for long before disappearing and storming into the walk in closet.
My mind starts spinning a mile a minute trying to figure out what I could've done to make him so angry.
Is he really this mad about me not changing?
Finally coming back to my senses I noticed the open door. He didn't lock it.
I don't waste another second and push myself off of the window seat, sprinting across the room hoping he doesn't notice. Do I have a plan once I get out of here? No, but the first step is to get away from these psychotic men.
I'm about two steps away from the door when I feel a strong arm wrap around my stomach and start to pull me back into the room.
"Not a chance, angel." His rough voice is close to my ear as he continues to pull my back further into the room, towards the bed. I continue to struggle but he just tightens his grip on me and lets out a deep chuckle.
Once I feel my legs hit the foot of the mattress the arm he had wrapped around me, moves to my shoulders as he pushes me down on the bed. Placing down whatever he had grabbed from the closet beside me, his hands wrapped around my wrists and pin them above my head, pushing them into the comforter is beneath me.
"What did we tell you to do?" I turn my head away from him, attempting to avoid his gaze as best as I can, but that doesn't last long when I feel his calloused fingers against my chin, angling my head back towards his.
