"Move, you fag!" He shoved her against a locker, books falling out of her hands and papers spilling everywhere.
Everyone watched in the hallway during passing period as the group of bullies walked away, leaving Val alone.
"Dammit..." She pushed her blonde, greasy hair behind her ears, and bent down, starting to pick up the mess.
People walked over and around the clutter now scattered all over the tile.
By the time she is done, every kid is already in the classrooms, and the bell had rung.
"Ugh... stupid Alberich..." She brushed off her skirt, looking at the clock as she scurries over to her homeroom class.
She silently creaks the door open, peaking through the gap.
Her eyes slowly examine the room, seeing all her classmates distracted, staring at the podium.
Looking there, she sees a tan, brunette girl with freckles standing in the front of the room, with the teacher standing next to her.
Val's face immediately turns a bright shade of pink.
Fuck... she's hot...
"I would like you all to meet the new kid to Faraway, just moved in yesterday. Would you like to introduce yourself?"
"Yes, my name is Kira!" She beams, her smile wide and adorable to Val.
"Anything else you wanna share?" The teacher nods contently.
"Uhm... oh!!" Kira's eyes light up, "I hope to be on the tennis team this year! It's my favorite sport tehe..." she scratches her chin with her finger.
Val leans forward dreamily, dazed by the sight of her.
"... WOAH!!!"
*THUNK*
Before she could realize it, the door had swung open due to her weight, making her fall face first in front of the entire class, including Kira.
Val rubs her throbbing head, listening to all the kids laugh and giggle to each other. She cursed under her breath, slowly looking up hesitantly and seeing-
"Are you okay?? You hit your head pretty hard..."
"Sh-uhhhh hi...?" Val grins nervously, seeing Kira hold a hand out to her.
"Are you alright?" She repeats, her tone considerably more calm.
"Oh!! Uhm..." She stands up quickly, not taking her hand, "yeah!! I'm okay!!!"
"You sure...? Your face is all red..." Kira turns her head, pointing to her tomato like cheeks.
Val slaps a hand on her face, "UHM!!!" She immediately speed walks over to her seat, quickly sitting down and covering her face with a textbook.
You could hear the rest of the room snicker and judge, which made her cower in anxiety.
"Erm..." Kira, clueless and dense, decides to not question it and sit back in the empty chair that just so happens to conveniently be next to Val.
Freaking out, Val bites her nails, shaking slightly.
*RINNNNGGG*
Class is already over??
Turns out she had spaced out, accidentally staring at the new girl for the most of it.
When she came to, she saw that instead of from a distance, Kira was standing right in front of her desk.
"Hellooooo...???"
"AH!!!"
Looking around to find a basically empty classroom (besides the teacher obviously), she quivers when she glances back at Kira.
"You feeling okay? Did you hit your head that hard??" Kira, showing genuine concern, smiles warmly as she introduces herself once more, "My name is Kira Collazo!"
"..." All Val could do was glare intently at her, words trapped in her throat.
"... anyways, I was wondering if you could show me around! It's my first day... obviously... and I'm not familiar with the school layout." After a pause of waiting for Val to say her name, she just jumps straight to the point.
"O-Of course!! I'll show you around!" Val stands up, walking out with Kira with excitement doing laps around in her brain.
She's so freaking cute!!! GSISVSIDVWKSB *insert brain malfunction moment*
Slowly, Val takes Kira around the school, spacing out but still somehow being able to navigate the school.
"These... are the staff offices, right?" Kira asked, looking at the hallway with brown doors and inspirational posters hung on the walls.
"Yeah, that's where the counselor and principal are. They're really nice!" Val beams, happy to help out a sweet and beautiful girl that was willing to want help from her. From her for christ's sake!!!
Kira looks down the hallway once more, her eyes suddenly dim, but her smile still persisting.
She opens her mouth gently,
"... have you heard what the principal did to that girl?"
...
Silence.
The air is tight, and it takes Val a second to realize or comprehend what she said.
"... huh? ...who? What happened...?"
Kira's eyes are solid brown, like voids you could get lost in if you stared long enough.
"...
Nothing!!! Come on!! We have 2 minutes to get to next period!!!!"
She suddenly yanks Val by the wrist, dragging her along while she breaks out into a run to their next class.
"AHH!! Wait!!!" Val yells, but the grip is surprisingly tight, showing her strength.
They dash off, giggling and chuckling happily.
...
Someone watching through the hall camera... an older blonde man with a wide grin from tip to tip of cheeks.
"Next time... she will be mine...
Forever."
