Reigen awoke to the sounds of skin striking skin, bone on bone. He didn't want to wake up just yet, simply because of the week he'd had. He had been fired from his job on Monday morning, but when he had gone to try and find another place, his town had been struck with a tsunami which had conveniently destroyed his house. Rolling over, he felt the ground beneath him shift as he tumbled down then giant sand dune, right towards the sound of the noise. He could make out voices now, heavy breathing masking their yells,

"You got us trapped here, you motherfucker!" Jones screamed, punching Nash in the side over and over, his other arm protecting his face from Nash's retaliation,

"I have already apologised!" Rightward roared back, beating Jones' raised arms with his solid fists, "you need to start learning to be a nice person!"

Reigen came out of nowhere, landing on the fighting two, sending them all tumbling further down the sand dunes, leading to the group in a big pile, each struggling to inflict damage on each other,

"Nice person!" Jones roared, "I never wanted to be kidnapped, so why don't you be a nice fucking person and let me go,"

"Neither of you are nice people," Reigen grumbled, "I mean Nash is alright at best and you're a complete asshole, Jones,"

Jones kneed him in the stomach, and Reigen coughed up a great volume of saliva, mumbling something about his tummy ache. Nash and Blakk continued to try and pin each other, each striking with trained ease, knees and elbows locking in a brutal battle. Jones spat out a glob of blood before managing to force Nash into a headlock, twisting his body to the side so that the Paladin wouldn't be able to go for his eyes. They were trapped there, catching their breath for a moment, before Chimera took over Jones' body,

"Why did you think it was a good idea to get fucking high?" He bellowed, not facing his acquaintance, "you literally brought us to the only place you can't escape!"

"I've had a bad few months, okay," Nash struggled, "I found out my whole life, my whole conviction was a lie, and that I'm secretly working for a demon, the very thing I thought I could destroy!"

"You're just a complete jackass!" Chimera shot back, as Nash forced him to roll over a bit,

He came face to face with the blinding sun, the shock of its rising causing him to loosen his grip just enough for Rightward to escape. Nash kicked Jones, jumping to his feet, then began to sprint across the sand as fast as he could, Reigen limping behind him. Jones raced after his enemy as fast as he could, but found himself slipping on the sand, which was quickly heating up,

"We need to find something solid to jump through!" Nash alerted the two, "by noon, this place will be so hot our bodies will cease to function,"

Jones wasn't happy to trust Nash's judgement, although it was obvious that the cocaine had lost its effects, but he had no choice. Blindly following the Paladin was not what Jones had in mind, so he let Chimera take over, as he was better at physical things like running across hot sand dunes. They continued to run for another five minutes, Reigen's panting at the exertion becoming a problem for Chimera to listen to. Then his feet suddenly began to feel sluggish, as if he were stuck in glue. It made no sense, he had run further before, in worse conditions, there was literally no chance in hell that he had gotten tired,

"Shit," He muttered, looking at the ground, where the remains of his shoe soles smouldered, "it's really getting hot out here,"

As if to punctuate the point, Reigen promptly collapsed, causing Nash to turn around. He was not wearing the armour, as it was still hung on his coat stand, but his greaves were still attached to his feet. The heat of the metal, combined by the claustrophobic leather that held it all together lead to a great volume of sweat, pouring from Nash's legs. But he had no option apart from continuing, as the soles of the feet would be burned away within moments if someone was to wear no shoes,
