31. Real Life

Hana had called her parents to tell them that she thinks it would be best for AiDi to fly to the US to get his mind off of what had happened with his classmate and that he should take his courses online while he was there.

"And you'll be flying back with him since you'll have to come back  to pack your things up," their mother, Avery, had said to which Hana had replied that yes, she and Charlie would be flying back with AiDi as she had to pack and look into studios in Korea near Stray Kids dorms for sale or rent so she had some were to start up her studio once she moved to South Korea.

"I was thinking," Hana said and her mother hummed on the other end of the call, "I know it's short notice but would it be alright if AiDi came to live with me in South Korea?"

Avery was silent for a moment, processing Hana's unexpected request. She knew how close Hana was to her brother AiDi, and the idea of him moving to South Korea with her was both surprising and heartwarming. After a pause, Avery replied, "Hana, that's a big decision to make on the fly. Have you thought it through completely?"

Hana took a deep breath, her mind racing with thoughts and plans for the future. "I have, Mom. I know it's sudden, but I truly believe that being in Korea, surrounded by new opportunities and a fresh start, would be incredibly beneficial for AiDi. And I want to be there for him every step of the way."

Avery could hear the determination in Hana's voice, and she couldn't help but feel a sense of pride in her daughter's selflessness and maturity. After a moment of reflection, she responded, "If this is what you think is best for AiDi and for both of you, then I trust your judgment. Just promise me you'll take good care of each other, okay?"

Hana smiled, grateful for her mother's understanding and support. "I promise, Mom. Thank you for believing in us. We won't let you down."

That had been the same day that AiDi had told her about be dare and within a few hours she had bought him a ticket to Newark and now he was a few hours away from landing.

"So once this leg of tour is over, you, Charlie are flying back to Sydney?" Hyunjin asked as the Stray Kids members, the baby in question and Hana sat in the lounge area of their hotel suite waiting until it was time to pick AiDi up from the airport which wasn't for another five hours.

Hyunjin's question brought Hana back to the present moment, shifting her focus from the whirlwind of thoughts about AiDi's imminent arrival. She nodded, a small smile playing on her lips as she replied, "Yes, we'll be flying back to Sydney once this leg of the tour is over. It's time for me to start packing up and preparing for our move to South Korea."

"Flying back to South Korea without guys is going to be weird," Han said as he leaned on Minho who ran his fingers through his hair making Han smile and close his eyes.

"I know," Hana replied with a nod, "it'll be hard not being with you guys, more so for Charlie as she got to spend time with Felix." She looked at her daughter and boyfriend as they played nearby, "so she'll have a harder time being away from him."

"It'll be just as tough for Felix as well as he missed so many of baby Charlie since she was born and having you both on tour had been so good for him.  It's going to be hard for him to part way with you both once this leg of tour is over," Changbin said as they watched the younger Aussie member as he played with his daughter on the floor making the ten month old baby squeal and kick her littles about as she watched her APPA make silly faces.

"And she'll miss being around her dad and uncles as well," Hana said as she watched her boyfriend and their daughter together, "she has gotten so used to seeing him on a daily basis since we joined you guys in tour."

The seven members of stray kids and Hana watched the father-daughter duo for a bit more before Hana had to go pick AiDi up from the airport. 

"Heading off?" Hyunjin asked as he saw Hana stand and she nodded with a smile, "have one of the security guards go with you, Felix wont be too happy if he knew you had gone alone without any protection to pick your brother up."
