The fist clashed with the golden giant sword, and Zhuge Liang, astonishingly, blocked the sword with just his bare hand!

"Break apart!" Zhuge Liang's eyes flashed with fierce intent as he struck out again.

"Crack!"

With a sound like shattering glass, the golden giant sword broke apart, its golden light turning into countless stars before dissipating. A talisman fell slowly from the air, now devoid of its original luster, clearly rendered useless.

"Ugh!"

The black-clad youth in midair spat out blood, his face pale with rage as he glared at Zhuge Liang: "You... you dared to destroy my sword talisman!"

"Not only will I destroy your talisman, but I'll also destroy you!" Zhuge Liang sneered as he leapt into the air towards the black-clad youth. Though the youth was floating due to the talisman's power, his movements were not very agile.

Zhuge Liang grabbed the youth's leg and swung him around before hurling him downwards.

"Boom!"

Dust billowed as the black-clad youth crashed into the ground like a falling rock. Bloodied and disheveled, he no longer had the imposing demeanor from before. He had thought that by rising into the air, Zhuge Liang wouldn't be able to do anything to him. Instead, Zhuge Liang's sheer strength had shattered the talisman, and his incredible jumping ability had allowed him to throw the youth down from such a height. The black-clad youth was now filled with humiliation and rage.

The youth struggled to rise, but Zhuge Liang descended from the air and stomped heavily on his knee.

"Crack!"

The iron leg that could split mountains crushed the youth's knee, bending it grotesquely. His leg was now crippled.

Hearing the youth's agonized screams, Zhuge Muyan's face turned pale with fear. She couldn't believe that the person she had always seen as useless could be so incredibly strong.

"It's impossible, it can't be, my senior brother is at the seventh level of Qi refining, how could he lose to this useless person..." Zhuge Muyan shook her head in disbelief, unable to accept the scene before her.

Zhuge Liang leaned down and looked at the black-clad youth, whose face was twisted in extreme pain. He slapped him hard, the crisp sound echoing.

"You... you trash!" The youth spat blood but still cursed defiantly.

"Slap!"

"Slap!"

Zhuge Liang gave him two more slaps, smiling: "Grandson, do you surrender?"

"I... I don't surrender!" The youth's face was contorted and terrifying.

"Slap!"

"Slap!"

Another two slaps followed.

Zhuge Liang smiled, "If you don't surrender, I'll keep slapping until you do!"

The youth's face was now swollen and bruised, with traces of blood seeping out: "You trash, if you touch me, Elder Pang will never let you go!"

"Elder Pang... haha..." Zhuge Liang laughed as he stroked his nose, his eyes gleaming with cold light. He stomped heavily on the youth's arm.

"Crack!"

"Ah!" The youth, now barely coherent, let out a piercingly harsh scream.

"Stop!" Zhuge Mu Yan, with a pale face, stepped forward and shouted, "Zhuge Bu Liang, release my senior brother! Aren't you afraid of Elder Pang finding trouble with you for injuring one of his disciples?!"

Zhuge Bu Liang laughed, "Elder Pang, haha, I'd dare to scold that old fool to his face, what's there to be afraid of! But since we're from the same family, I'll let him go for your sake. I don't want to make a big fuss out of this!"

Having said that, Zhuge Bu Liang patted the face of the young man in black and added, "From now on, don't try to act all high and mighty without strength, understand?"

Zhuge Bu Liang then stood up, tore the talisman off the young man in black, and turned to leave.

"Zhuge Bu Liang, I didn't expect you to have such strength, but you're still a side branch of the Zhuge family. Don't delude yourself into thinking you can become someone important. I'll tell you this, Brother Ming is in seclusion under Elder Pang's guidance, and when he comes out, he'll definitely come for you!" Zhuge Mu Yan said with a proud expression. Despite being shocked by Zhuge Bu Liang's strength, she still couldn't adjust to the fact that he had the upper hand.

"Zhuge Ming... haha, let him come find me when he's out of seclusion," Zhuge Bu Liang laughed and walked toward the floating mountain of the Yao Xian Pavilion.

Zhuge Mu Yan watched Zhuge Bu Liang leave until his figure disappeared from view. Her red lips twitched as she muttered, "You lowly person, once Brother Ming comes out, you'll see how you fare. A mere bird can never soar to the sky and become a phoenix!"

"Hmm..." A groan came from the young man in black who lay on the ground, his hands and feet broken.

"Senior brother, what should we do?" Zhuge Mu Yan asked.

"Wake up the other disciples and take me to see the master. I must take revenge!" the young man in black shouted angrily.

Standing below the floating mountain, Zhuge Bu Liang looked up at the peak hovering in the air. He took out the talisman he had torn from the young man in black. The talisman was covered with intricate runes drawn in red ink, flowing with a faint, smooth light, looking quite extraordinary.

"I remember Ke Wei mentioning this kind of rune. It's called... Ascension Talisman, that's right!" Zhuge Bu Liang thought to himself with a smile. Just when he was troubled about how to ascend the floating mountain, a "gift" arrived.

Zhuge Bu Liang affixed the "Ascension Talisman" to himself and infused it with his true essence. He felt his body lighten as he began to float slowly upward towards the floating mountain, though the speed was extremely slow, almost like a turtle.

Eventually, he reached the floating mountain. This place was considered a key area of the Yao Xian Sect, and disciples below the Foundation Establishment stage were not allowed to enter casually without special reasons.

On the floating mountain, pavilions and towers stood amidst the mist, resembling a fairyland.

"Swish!"

A flash of sword light appeared, revealing a disciple in a beige Daoist robe. Zhuge Bu Liang noticed the golden stripe on the disciple's collar, indicating that he was a Foundation Establishment stage disciple.

"This place is not for you Qi Refining stage disciples. Leave immediately!" The young man in the beige Daoist robe spoke with a stern tone and disdainful attitude. As a Foundation Establishment stage disciple, he naturally looked down upon Qi Refining stage people like Zhuge Bu Liang.

"Senior brother, I am a disciple of Elder Bi Luo, and I was sent by my master to check some things in the library," Zhuge Bu Liang smiled and greeted the disciple in the beige Daoist robe.

The young man snorted, "Nonsense! Everyone knows that Elder Bi Luo only takes female disciples. How dare you impersonate Elder Bi Luo's disciple! Wait a minute! Are you really a disciple of Elder Bi Luo? That means you must be Zhuge Bu Liang!"

The young man's eyes suddenly lit up.

"Indeed, that's me," Zhuge Bu Liang replied with a smile.

The young man, who had been arrogant just moments ago, immediately changed his demeanor to one of utmost flattery and said, "Brother Liang, I didn't expect you to be Brother Liang. I apologize for the offense..."

Zhuge Bu Liang was taken aback, thinking, "What's going on here? Is he trying to deceive me?"
