The young man felt extremely puzzled as the magical artifact once again passed overhead, the dazzling white light growing even more intense.

He even felt that the compass in his hand was becoming scorching hot, all due to this white light.

"Senior Brother, what's happening?" Su Nianjiao also came over, her lively eyes fixed on the magical artifact in the young man's hand.

The young man's expression became very serious. "Zhuge Buliang, your spiritual root seems to be unusual. I can't determine its nature. I need to take you back to see the Sect Master and the Elders. Perhaps they can discover the secret of your spiritual root."

"Does this mean I can also practice immortality?" Zhuge Buliang asked excitedly.

"Not sure yet. We'll have to wait until we see the Sect Master and Elders to decide!" The young man said. "Nianjiao, it seems we must set off immediately. We can't stay here any longer."

"Ah!" Su Nianjiao let out a delicate cry, her pretty face showing a hint of disappointment, casting a resentful glance at Zhuge Buliang, as if blaming him for making her miss out on another day of fun.

Unexpectedly, Zhuge Buliang was indeed chosen, which left everyone astounded.

"Seriously? That guy was actually selected!"

"How is that possible? Even we... he was selected!"

"Is there something wrong with the immortal's magical artifact?"

"That servant was chosen? No way!"

Amidst the murmurs and astonished glances, Zhuge Ming's eyes narrowed as he muttered, "So it turns out he was actually chosen."

"Hmph! Didn't you hear the immortal say his spiritual root is different from others? Maybe when he reaches Yaohai Sect, the immortal experts there will dismiss him. At that point, he'll be even more humiliated! A lowly servant born of a maid, how could he possibly undertake the great task of practicing immortality?" Zhuge Musmoke sneered with contempt.

A colorful cloud appeared under the young man's feet, lifting Su Nianjiao, Zhuge Ming, Zhuge Musmoke, and Zhuge Buliang slowly into the air.

"Patriarch Zhuge, we bid you farewell!" The young man bowed his hand in farewell to Zhuge Songtao.

Zhuge Songtao, standing on the high platform, glanced at Zhuge Ming with deep affection. "Children, come back to visit when you have the time. Musmoke, you too..."

Finally, Zhuge Songtao's gaze rested on Zhuge Buliang, but he said nothing, only sighing.

The latter casually whistled.

The colorful cloud swiftly ascended, carrying Zhuge Ming, Zhuge Musmoke, and Zhuge Buliang away, disappearing from sight in the blink of an eye amid the envious gazes of the crowd.

On the colorful cloud, Zhuge Buliang was extremely excited. For the first time in his two lives, he was flying through the sky on a cloud, reaching out to touch it. It felt soft and comfortable to lie on. The scenery below sped away rapidly, mountains and rivers moving backward. A faint light shield surrounded them, preventing the howling cold wind from affecting them.

Zhuge Buliang couldn't help but feel an urge to laugh joyfully.

He was about to become an immortal practitioner, about to escape his lowly status, and no longer be looked down upon.

"Didn't expect you'd be so lucky," Zhuge Ming sneered, his eyes twitching as he watched Zhuge Buliang's triumphant expression.

"Hehe, there's no such thing as absolute certainty in this world," Zhuge Buliang retorted without reservation.

Now that they were all about to become immortal practitioners, with their statuses equal, Zhuge Buliang would no longer tolerate their bullying. He could endure some humiliation, but not endless scorn.

Zhuge Musmoke coldly said, "Don't get too happy. Your spiritual root is abnormal, and it's possible you won't be able to practice immortality at all. If they expel you from Yaohai Sect, let's see who ends up humiliated!"

Zhuge Buliang didn't bother with them, instead lying on the soft, fluffy cloud and gazing at the rapidly retreating scenery below. Gradually, he found it rather mundane and curled up on the soft cloud to take a nap.

Youth and Su Nianjiao were riding on colorful clouds, flying through the sky. After about two hours, the speed of the clouds gradually slowed. Zhuge Liang, barely waking up, found himself over a vast ocean. The sea stretched endlessly, a deep blue expanse.

Zhuge Liang marveled at the cloud's speed, faster than any aircraft from his past life. In just two hours, they had traveled from the Tianyuan Dynasty to this sea.

Ahead, a green dot appeared, floating on the sea like a jade bead. As they drew closer, Zhuge Liang realized it was an immortal island, lush and verdant, surrounded by a faint mist. A red rainbow arched like a bridge above the island, creating a dreamlike scene.

The island was alive with the call of immortal cranes, which flew across the sky, making Zhuge Liang feel as if he had entered a celestial realm.

"This is a place for cultivators..." Even Zhuge Ming and Zhuge Muyan gazed in awe.

"This will be my new home..." Zhuge Liang felt the same deep emotion.

The colorful clouds landed on the island. From above, the island seemed small, but it was vast upon closer inspection.

The youth put away the cloud, revealing it was a magical artifact. It was as thin as mist and vanished with a flash.

A long flight of steps appeared, leading deeper into the island and gradually enveloped by mist. Beside the steps stood a stone tablet engraved with three large characters: "Yao Hai Sect!"

"Senior Brother Li, you're back," greeted two young men in Daoist robes, bowing politely.

The latter merely nodded, their expressions neutral; they were probably just mountain-guarding disciples.

"Nianjiao, go report to the Sect Master and the Elders," the youth said. Su Nianjiao nodded and flew up with a radiant flying sword, leaving Zhuge Liang and the others in awe, wishing they could fly like her.

"Senior, how should we address you?" Zhuge Muyan asked.

The youth smiled, "We'll be fellow disciples from now on, no need for 'Senior.' My name is Li Yuanfei."

"Senior Brother Li," Zhuge Ming and Zhuge Muyan greeted, while Zhuge Liang remained detached, not accustomed to flattering others.

"Senior Brother Li, I've heard that some cultivation sects have inner and outer disciples. What about us...?" Zhuge Muyan asked with some concern. Inner disciples and outer disciples might differ greatly, with only inner disciples truly considered cultivators.

Li Yuanfei responded, "Our Yao Hai Sect is ranked tenth in the Nine Provinces. We don't have inner and outer disciple divisions like the top sects."

The three nodded in understanding. With so many cultivation sects in the Nine Provinces, being ranked tenth was impressive. Zhuge Ming and Zhuge Muyan felt relieved, pleased there was no division between inner and outer disciples.
