That night, Zhuge Liang was summoned to Elder Bilu's residence for a reprimand. It turned out that Elder Bilu had been summoned by the sect leader to the Yaoxian Pavilion due to the dispute between Zhuge Liang and Zhuge Muyan, among others. Though conflicts among disciples were inevitable, Zhuge Liang had used excessive force, rendering a black-clad youth disabled. Since this youth was favored by Elder Pang, who had a grudge against Zhuge Liang, it was only natural for the sect leader to be informed.

The next morning, as Zhuge Liang woke up, he was startled to find that the Phoenix Flower tree beside him had lost its luster, with its flowers wilting and showing signs of withering.

"What happened?" Zhuge Liang wondered. In the rich spiritual energy of the Yaohai Sect, Phoenix Flowers should remain vibrant for a long time, yet after just one night of his cultivation, the tree showed signs of decay.

"Could it be because of the Seven Stars Divine Acupuncture?" Zhuge Liang speculated, glancing around. Fortunately, only this tree showed signs of withering while others remained lush.

Zhuge Liang breathed a sigh of relief. "It seems I can't cultivate here anymore; otherwise, I'll end up destroying all the Phoenix Flower trees and the entire flower sea."

He gazed towards the Yaohai Sect's back mountain and descended the Celestial Ladder from Bilu Palace, heading towards the back mountain of the Yaohai Sect. The Seven Stars Divine Acupuncture absorbed spiritual energy too aggressively; a single Phoenix Flower tree withered overnight. The back mountain, with its towering ancient trees and sparse human presence, seemed an ideal place for cultivation.

In the following days, Zhuge Liang went to the back mountain to cultivate daily. The Seven Stars Divine Acupuncture absorbed spiritual energy so excessively that it could even drain the essence of other living beings, making it extremely domineering. Zhuge Liang wanted to keep this secret hidden from others. Gradually, he discovered a pond in the back mountain, its water shimmering with vibrant waves. The closer he approached, the denser the spiritual energy became.

"Could there be an array around this pond that gathers spiritual energy?" Zhuge Liang speculated. The spiritual energy here was even denser than in Bilu Palace.

It was a paradise for cultivation. The dense spiritual energy left Zhuge Liang feeling more refreshed each time he ended his practice.

One day, while cultivating by the pond, Zhuge Liang suddenly heard a strange sound. Opening his eyes, he saw the pond bubbling as if a massive wave was about to rise. A tremendous pressure descended.

Realizing the danger, Zhuge Liang quickly retreated and hid behind an ancient tree.

"Boom!"

A towering water column surged up, lifting a gigantic creature with it. Its azure scales glittered, revealing it to be the Yaohai Sect's island guardian spirit beast, the Water Qilin. A vague celestial light enveloped the Water Qilin, giving it a dreamlike appearance.

"Immortal Sovereign!" Zhuge Liang exclaimed in shock.

The Water Qilin, with its divine transformation level cultivation, was a formidable presence in the entire cultivation world. As a spirit beast with the bloodline of a celestial beast, it had lived for thousands of years. Spirit beasts naturally had long lifespans, and with celestial beast blood, a human with such longevity could well aspire to the immortal path.

"Oh no, I've disturbed it, I'm doomed!" Zhuge Liang thought, breaking into a cold sweat. Being crushed by a divine transformation level spirit beast would be as easy as squashing an ant. Zhuge Liang wasted no time and started running.

"Hey, kid, come here!"

At that moment, a sweet and melodious voice echoed, like the gentle ringing of silver bells or a yellow oriole emerging from the valley, almost celestial in its beauty.

Zhuge Liang turned around and saw that the towering water column had vanished, replaced by a young woman standing on it. Her appearance was exquisite, with eyes full of spirit, her long water-blue hair flowing, and her delicate figure draped in a turquoise armor that accentuated her graceful form.

"You... you are an Immortal Sovereign?" Zhuge Liang asked, astonished.

The young girl smiled, her eyes, full of spirit, narrowing into crescent shapes as she said, "Yes, that child, come here~~~"

Zhuge Liang walked over trembling. Despite her youthful appearance, he knew she was a powerful being who had lived for thousands of years. Even the Grand Elder of the Yao Hai Sect showed her utmost respect, so Zhuge Liang didn't underestimate her. He believed that if the仙尊 (immortal being) wished to kill him, it would be as easy as blowing a breath.

Zhuge Liang timidly approached the edge of the pool, saying, "Lady, may you be blessed~~"

The girl's previously smiling face immediately turned serious as she said, "Who are you calling 'lady'?"

"Forgive me, Immortal, forgive me. I meant no offense," Zhuge Liang quickly bowed down, realizing he had to show respect to someone at the transformation stage.

The girl lightly touched the water and floated down to stand in front of Zhuge Liang. She said, "Child, who gave you permission to practice here? Do you know that your practice has deprived the surroundings of a great amount of heavenly essence?" She scanned him with her spirited eyes as if trying to see through him.

"I... I didn't mean to..." Zhuge Liang, usually sharp-tongued, now stuttered in fear. The girl's presence emanated an overwhelming pressure that made him tremble.

"Ah? You have a non-attribute spiritual root!" The girl suddenly said, pulling Zhuge Liang closer and placing her jade-like hand on his chest. A water-blue glow surged into him.

Zhuge Liang was startled, thinking the仙尊 was about to attack him. Just as he was about to beg for mercy, he felt a surge of heat in his body, followed by dazzling white light pouring out from him. Seven shining stars appeared on his chest in the arrangement of the Big Dipper, their divine light radiating through him.

"Seven Stars Divine Body!" The girl exclaimed, her face changing immediately. She grabbed Zhuge Liang and leaped into the pool. A blurry仙光 (immortal light) surrounded them, blocking the water from coming near.

The girl moved with incredible speed. Zhuge Liang blinked and found himself in a cave.

The cave was adorned with pink crystal stones, illuminating the entire space with a soft pink glow, making the cave look like a luxurious bathhouse.

"This cave is beneath the pool!" Zhuge Liang was astonished.

"Come here, child!" The girl jumped onto a crystal-like bed.

"What are you doing?" Zhuge Liang was alarmed.

"Get on the bed!!" The girl's spirited eyes blinked.

Zhuge Liang instinctively took a few steps back, waving his hands, "Immortal, stop joking. I am a very disciplined person; I won't compromise."

"Come here now!" The girl commanded fiercely, her jade-like hand stretching out to envelop Zhuge Liang with an invisible force, pulling him to her side.

The girl pinned Zhuge Liang to the crystal bed, her body pressing down on him. Her warm breath brushed against his face.

"Help! This is an assault!" Zhuge Liang screamed in desperation. Despite the girl's charm, she was a water qilin in her true form, and Zhuge Liang was deeply repelled by the idea of such an encounter between human and beast.

"Don't, Immortal! Not today, my great-aunt is coming!" Zhuge Liang pleaded.

"Shut up!" The girl yelled.
