(Continuation of the hearing)

“Nice try…” Lucifer grinned, his voice now echoing through Yuki's body as he took control, the markings of his presence appeared on Yuki’s face, it was like Yuki’s mouth that was talking but not his voice, it was Lucifer’s. “2,000 years ago, I was encased. During that time, I realized there might be a new ruler of Hell—one of my former allies. Let’s say… I need your help to kill the new ruler of Hell.”

“And who is it?” Master Maruhime inquired.

“He’s a Soul Corrupting fiend named Fuyobusa,” Lucifer replied. “I named him, and trained him, but I didn’t expect him to turn his powers against me.”

“Is he that powerful?” Shiyou asked, concerned.

“Yes… But don’t worry. I will win,” Lucifer said confidently, a dark determination in his eyes as he smirked.

“How can we make sure that you don’t harm humans?” Airie questioned, her voice steady and probing.

Koyurozu followed up with a hint of irritation, “Yeah, it’s not like we can trust you after what you did 2,000 years ago.”

Lucifer's grin widened. “If you don’t trust me, then don’t. I don’t need your trust. The only thing I need is this boy’s body,” he replied, his tone dripping with amusement. “To be honest, if I hadn’t been activated, maybe this entire class would be DEAD…” He paused, letting the weight of his words sink in, the higher-ups couldn’t say a word, they were overthinking about what he just said. “Anyway, I don’t have much time here. Such a waste of time. See you when I see you,”

he added as the markings on Yuki's body began to fade, signaling his departure.

“Soldiers…” Master Maruhime’s voice cut through the tense atmosphere, drawing everyone’s attention. “I received some information from one of my shikigami. Lucifer saved Callisto and Ms. Ayakane—not just them, but all the students and even the HQ. If it weren’t for him fighting that Red-eyed fiend demon, everyone would have been at risk.”

Her words hung in the air, leaving the higher-ups to grapple with the unexpected revelation.

After Master Maruhime finished speaking, Koyurozu raised a concern. “We understand, however, we can’t put our guards down. What if Lucifer takes full control of this boy’s body and uses it against us?” His voice was edged with caution.

Mimira nodded in agreement. “Yes, Koyurozu is right. What if he’s just saving them to act good in front of us, blinding everyone to his true intentions?” His tone mirrored the growing unease in the room, reflecting the doubts shared by the higher-ups.

“Don’t worry,” Callisto interjected, his voice calm and cold, drawing the attention of everyone in the room, including Yuki and Master Maruhime. “I, an Australis angel, will sacrifice myself as punishment if it comes to that.” His words were delivered with unwavering resolve, making it clear that he was prepared to take extreme measures to protect everyone from the potential threat Lucifer posed.

Master Maruhime smiled warmly at Callisto. “You have a dedicated heart, Callisto, my soldier. But let us enlighten our minds that Yuki is capable of handling Lucifer—not just because he’s a hilaris, but because he shares the same bloodline as Lucifer. So, let’s make an agreement,” she continued her tone firm yet reassuring. “If Lucifer fails to keep his word, Yuki will need to undergo an exorcism. Our method of exorcism involves severing the head, so the soul within the vessel can be filtered and returned to a vial.” The gravity of her words hung in the air, a reminder of the delicate balance they all must maintain.
