Winter POV (Jade Mountain Academy/ Monsoon's class 12:00 pm July 1st.)

Winter was sitting in Monsoon's class annoyed out of his mind. He was tired of hearing Monsoon and Carnelian bicker.

Normally when Icewings had a disagreement they would go to someone with a superior rank to settle the matter. Or they would have a low stakes duel to decide who's right. However the two Skywings in front of him didn't do either. Instead they simply choose to simply remain angry at each other. What exactly does that solve?

"Don't you ever make fun of my scales again!" Monsoon said, roaring in Carnelian's face.

Winter roared at Carnelian and Monsoon. Both Monsoon and Carnelian snapped their heads to face an angry Winter. "Both of you shut up before I shove your own tails down your throats." Winter threatened.

Carnelian glares at Winter, her crimson eyes gleaming with rage. "Stay out of this Winter." Carnelian said.

"C-can... we talk about something more pleasant like the free period or maybe how the rest of the day is going to go?" Moon asked, trying to change the conversation.

The entire Jade Winglet gave Moon a weird look.

Moon cowered from the attention, like a hatchling who just got scolded for misbehaving.

Monsoon shrugged. "I suppose that's fair." Monsoon said before turning to face Carnelian. He then drowned. "Carnelian I will be seeing you tomorrow during detention, there we can continue this conversation." Monsoon said.

Carnelian was fuming, Puffs of smoke came out of her nose like a bull.

Winter stared at Carnelian. Serves you right for trying to pick a fight with a superior if I did that to my parents or anyone else in the Ice Kingdom, they would have my tail for lunch. Winter thought as he shivered.

He remembered when he was younger when he yelled at his trainer. The trainer 100% deserved it though. He couldn't exactly remember what the trainer actually did to him. He just remembered his dad beating him to a bloody pulp as a punishment.

Winter sighed to himself. He then laid his head on his desk. Such lovely times. Winter thought sarcastically.

Monsoon cleared his throat. "Anyway I will be chilling at my desk, if you have any questions or concerns please don't be afraid to talk to me." Monsoon said. The Fushia Skywing gracefully sat down and grabbed one of the several scrolls rolled up on his desk. He then unraveled the scroll and began to read it.

For the next 55 minutes Winter tried to sleep, The keyword there is "tried." Unfortunately for Winter, the desks were set up in such an awkward position, he was forced to constantly change his position.

Most of the other dragonets in the class were either fidgeting with something, or trying to sleep like he was.

Monsoon was still at his desk reading scrolls. Winter envied the teacher, he wasn't much of a reader but he would gladly read a scroll if he didn't have to continue trying to sleep.

Winter let out a sigh as he sat back up. These desks are so uncomfortable, I hate them so much! Winter thought, angrily.

"You all have about 5 minutes left before this class is over." Monsoon said softly. He then dug his head back into his scroll

The dragonets who were sleeping began to sit up.

Umber stood up and stretched his legs and wings. "Do we have another class after this?" Umber asked.

Qibli groaned. "I hope not, I'd rather do something entertaining than just sit in a classroom for an hour doing nothing." Qibli said, slightly annoyed.

Winter couldn't agree more with the Sandwing. At least in the Ice Kingdom he would be given a scroll to somewhat entertain himself while the class ran on. Although now that he thought about it, his fellow classmates at the time, wouldn't be as "outgoing" as the Jade Mountain students. So he supposed that was a benefit, Despite how annoying they can be at times. Then, there was Kinkajou, the small Rainwing has been a complete mystery to him, even to this point in time. Sometimes she was talkative and energetic and at other times she was very focused. It didn't make any sense to Winter. Was this how all Rainwings acted? Or was this just strictly one of Kinkajou's traits? He would need to spend some time with the other Rainwings to find out.
