Chapter 2

"Hey! Deku you bastard!" Was the first thing I heard upon arriving with Koji and Toothless. I look up to see the blonde spikey haired kid running up to Midoriya with explosions going off in his hand. "Tell me how you did that or you're dead!" The boy yelled.

Thinking quickly, Toothless ran over and tackled the blonde boy to the ground before he could get close to Midoriya. Toothless growl slowly in his face, holding him down with his front paws on his arms.

"What the hell! Why is this overgrown lizard so heavy!"

"Because he eats a literal ton of fish a day. And I'd avoid calling him that. It pisses him off majorly. I should know." I said as I walked up to them. "Stand down."

"And why the hell is my quirk gone!"

"It'd be wise to avoid making me use my quirk so much." Aizawa said as he walked up to us also. "It gives me serious dry eye." Aizawa stops using his quirk and his hair falls back into place. "You're wasting my time now. Whoever's next can step up." Aizawa said.

"Toothless." I said softly and he looked at me. He then turns to the boy and growls again before coming to my side and we walk to stand with the others.

The rest of the tests went smoothly. Now we all were waiting to see our results and where we placed. I was laying on Toothless's back because the last test had wiped me out completely. It's a lot harder to run when you aren't on a dragon "All right time to give you your results. I ranked you all from best to worst. You should probably have a good idea of your standing already." Aizawa said while looking at us. "I'll just pull up the whole list. It's not worth going over each individual's score." Aizawa pushed something on his phone and a hologram showed up showing us everybody's rank.

I look through the scores and hum softly. "Look at that bud. We're ranked fourth." I said softly and petted his head. "And they even put your name on there as an honorary mention." I continued to look through them and frowned. Midoriya got last... I look over at the boy and gave him a sad look. That's too bad... since he got last he's gonna get–

"And I was lying, no one's going home." I snapped my head to my teacher in shock. "That was just a rational deception to make sure you gave it your all in the tests."

"You have got to be kidding me..." I groaned and lay back on Toothless.

"I'm surprised the rest of you didn't figure that out." A girl with a big black ponytail said looking at us like we're idiots. "I'm sorry. I guess I probably should have said something."

I look at her and groan again. "Maybe a little heads up next time would be great." I grumbled.

"That was pretty never wracking huh?"

"Nah, I'm always down for a challenge."

I yawn and pet Toothless's head. "Nothing ever gets you nervous huh bud?" I asked. "You probably knew it all along."

"That's it, we're done for the day. Pick up a syllabus in the classroom. Read it over before tomorrow morning." Aizawa says as he walks off leaving us.

I chuckle slightly as I pet Toothless's head. "Hey! That's some dragon you got!" I heard someone say as they walked over. I turned my head and see the red haired boy walk over. "I've never even seen one besides the Pro Hero Ryukyu!"

"Thanks. But he did all the work. I'm just here for the ride. Literally." I say and smile.

"My names Ejiro Kirishima!"

"(Y/n) Haddock. And this is Toothless." I introduce us to the boy.

"Toothless? Why do you call him that?" Kirishima asked as I got off him. Toothless looked at Kirishima.
