Chapter 8

A yawn came from my mouth as I finished packing for the training camp. I had all my clothes and a few bags full of those crackers Amy had made for the dragons. I was lucky enough to get the recipe. Five of them and Toothless's shot limit will be completely restored. I was about to chill for a bit but my phone went off. I looked at it and saw that Ashido decided to invite me to the pool. I think about it before sighing.

"Wanna go for a swim bud?" I asked and Toothless jumped around me making me yelp. "Ok ok!" I said and the dragon settled down quickly. I got some stuff in my bag and we headed to the pool at the school.

"You know Haddock... The point of the pool is to swim in it..." Jiro said, looking at me from where she was standing. I was still dressed in my normal clothes and was working on taking Toothless's saddle off.

I put the saddle on the ground next to my bag, "If I can prevent me ever having to get in water... I'll stick to that." I said and looked at them.

"Then why come?" Ashido asked, crossing her arms across her chest.

"You can ask the overgrown lizard." I said as Toothless ran to the pool and dove in. I roll my eyes and sit on a bench.

"But we can play games and stuff like that! It'll be fun!" Uraraka said.

"No thanks. You guys go ahead." I said and watched as Toothless swims. After a while all the boys started to show up also. Apparently They wanted to train also, but from the looks of it... Kaminari and Mineta wanted to do more than train. I watch as the girls start to play volleyball, while I sit off to the side. Toothless was having fun and that's all that mattered. I look over and chuckle at the way Kaminari and Mineta looked after training with Iida.

I roll my eyes and hum watching Toothless have fun in the water with the girls. I hum softly and watch them play until Iida said they wanna see who's the fastest swimmer while using their quirks. "Count me out." I said and pulled out a towel and Toothless sat in front of me.

"What? But Haddock. It'll be fun!" Midoriya said and I looked at the pool.

"Not really. I just don't feel like swimming today." I state and look at Toothless and start to dry him off. I mean... that's half right... I also don't really know how to swim at all. "I'll take Last place for this."

"Like hell you will!" I heard a voice say, I yelp as Bakugo grabs my collar and pushes me towards the pool. I yelp and slip falling towards the water, making a huge splash. I tried to swim up but it was no use. It wasn't until two hands grabbed my arms and lifted me up out of the water making me gasp for breath. I look over to see Todoroki and Kirishima helping me stay up. They got me to the edge and Midoriya helped me out of the pool. I cough slightly and pant.

"Bakugo! That was not necessary!" Uraraka yelled at the boy.

"What? Can't you handle a little water?!" Bakugo yelled at me.

"If i could swim then yeah!" I yelled back at him and stood up. "Unlike you I can't fucking swim!"

"What type of person doesn't know how to swim!" Bakugo yelled back to me. This sent me over the edge making me bolt at him and tackle him to the ground. I started to throw punch after punch at him until I was pulled back by two sets of arms.

I fought in their grip and tried to get free. "That's enough!" Iida called out. I pant and look at the two who were holding me back, Iida and Sero.

I shrug off their arms and glare at the boy on the floor. "Fuck this. Toothless! Let's go." I said and the dragon came over with our stuff. I didn't even bother putting on his saddle before we took off. I was just so pissed I couldn't think straight. By the time we got home Toothless and I were completely dried off. I sigh as I think back to what happened, "He's just a jerk..." I whisper. After a while we decided to head to bed.
