The day has begun. The scene of the Bridgerton house was just the same. With a few suitors trying to grasp the look of Eloise. The new pamphlet was published and distributed has caught much chaos. It gave rise to the flames of curiosity residing in the hearts of the society men and women who was until at rest. Wondering who the couple might be. The gossips were spread in the air.
Eloise walking in the gardens alongside Lady Bridgerton and Benedict was quite pleased with the new publish.
Eloise: "At least no one is focusing in finding the diamond right now!" She smiled eloquently. "Brother who do you think that person is?"
Benedict: "Quiet a charismatic guy maybe."
Eloise: "Sure." She frowned.
Lady Bridgerton who was still worried and focused on the last night but had no words. Benedict realising the panic of Mama took Eloise aside. Eloise holding arm of Benedict walking near the lake.
Benedict: "So you spend the last night dancing with Pen."
Eloise: "Yes!" Inattentively.
Benedict: "He is a nice guy. I see you too enjoy each other company."
She stopped and stare at him. "I am not a kid. Say what troubles you!"
"Well Mama is worried. You know he is a guy. If you will dance with him people will think that you are with him. It will drive them away."
Eloise: "It will be great then that is what I want."
"It's not that simple Eloise." He tried to gather his words.
"What is your concern then?" Eloise.
"Featherington's are facing troubles financially. Somehow they are less liked in society. Pen lacks a lot of things. I see that you two are friends. In the absence of Anthony I have to keep check on you."
"What has it to do with Pen and my friendship?" Eloise raised her eye brows.
"Be honest I know you do not wanna marry but what do you want otherwise?"
"I do not know maybe travel and learn and study." Just the thoughts of it made her smile.
"It will not happen and you will end up being a spinster." He giggled.
"I will not hate that." She smiled.
