Myotismon trots slowly towards a dark alleyway, with a communicator device in hand.
"This is the place, sir?" He spoke softly into the device.
"Yes it is, Myotismon." Axeknightmon responded, sitting on a large plush chair in his lair. "We'll pay them whatever they want. We need those Divermon to stop that meddling brat and his digimon. Understood?"
"Yes sir." Myotismon chimes and stuffs the device back in his pocket. He walks into the alleyway and comes across the Divermon gang.
"What's a formal vampire like a Myotismon doing in these parts?" The head Divermon said, clearly hostile.
"To hire you all of course." Myotismon smirks. "Now listen closely..."
(Meanwhile)
It's been a day and a half on the waters and the supplies I've managed to store are running low. The once joyful faces I saw when we first took off are replaced with tired, emotionless faces. Well, except Coronamon. I think he's the one thing keeping Whispered from jumping off the boat.
"Derin, why are we even on this boat?" Guilmon asks, tilting his head to the side. I did tell Guilmon most of the story but I guess I left out the part of why we are on this boat.
"To find this pirate digimon named..." I trail off.
"Olegmon." Coronamon said smiling. Guilmon's eyes widen in excitement.
"Is he a cool pirate digimon?" Guilmon asked, looking to Coronamon.
"No." Whispered responded before Coronamon had a chance. The smile faded on Coronamon's face as he stepped on Whispered foot, causing a yowl of pain to come out of Whispered. "I'm right!" Whispered growls.
"Just because he did the right thing and you didn't all those years ago, doesn't mean you get to insult him." Coronamon says while glaring at Whispered. Whispered huffs and turned his body to the side, mumbling. Seeing Coronamon act like that was rare. Maybe talking about this Olegmon guy hit a nerve. "Yes Guilmon, Olegmon is a very cool pirate and might I add his ship, Misery, is amazing!"
"I can't believe I get to meet a pirate." Guilmon says.
"That cool pirate worked with my dad." Lalamon chimes in, but her voice is seemingly unamused. Guilmon got even more excited.
"Really?!?"
"Yeah." Lalamon said. I watched the waters, looking at all the little fish that swam under the boat. While the four digimon had a more or less interesting conversation I noticed bigger shadows in the water, circling our boat.
"Um guys?" I say but my voice was overshadowed by the conversation they were having. Suddenly, a giant metal spear comes out of nowhere and goes right through the boat, almost taking me with it. "Holy crap!" I yell as we all begin freaking out. Our boat starts to sink as another spear hurls right at it, snapping out boat in half. I fall into the water and start treading water. My leg is grabbed from under the water and I'm forced back in. It takes me a few seconds to finally open my eyes and see the hoard of digimon who are trying to drown all of us. It was a bunch of white and blue fish with huge ugly lips. Each of them have webbed feet and a red oxygen tank on their backs. They each carry a spear. There seems to be over twenty of them, four of which are holding my digimon underwater, drowning them as well. In a burst of energy, I kick the digimon holding me and swim to the surface. I wail my arms in the air. "Help!" I scream hoping anyone would hear me.
Fear creeps into my entire body as the reality that we are in the middle of the ocean kicks in. Before I can scream again, I'm pulled back under the water by the ugly fish digimon. I struggle to keep conscious and I see that the others are about to give up as well. What have I done? I've pulled them all to a horrible death. Just as my vision starts to blur completely, the grip from the digimon is gone and I'm pulled up to the surface.
