I sat there for so long I could not feel my legs. I just stared in the direction the band of seven went, why. Why did they leave me, am I to weak? Is it because I'm a girl? I continued to stare and wonder why. "Come on Kagome we have to leave and catch up with them." "No Inuyasha what about her we can't just leave her here." I know they are talking about me but it does not matter If I don't have my family what do I have to live for? I stood up and started to walk into the forest before I was stopped by the wolf demon Koga. "Where are you going?" I looked up at him and said emotionlessly "I am leaving to die in peace"

Koga's POV

I stood in front of the girl the band of seven left behind stopping her from entering the forest. "Where are you going?" She looked at me with those purple eyes that were almost lifeless, "I am leaving to die in peace." I don't understand she is free from the band of seven yet she wishes to die? "Why must you die?" Her eyes filled up with unshed tears and I could see the hurt she was feeling. "I have nothing left to live for that is why I must die." I shook my head, grabbing her arm I dragged her to Kagome "come with us to kill Naraku and on the way you might find another reason to live." She stared at me in confusion "why do you care if I die?" I didn't know how to answer her question all I know is that for some strange reason I don't want her to die. So I shook my head and said "everyone has a reason for living, you just have to find yours." For a split second I thought I saw resolve pass through her eyes but I could be mistaken. She nodded and gave me a half hearted smile. I turned to Kagome and said "now let's go find Naraku."
