Scarlet orders by her earpiece her tone laced with dominance. Taehyung steals a glance at her, her eyes are concentrated on the screen. He can't read her mind right now. Her gaze held a different kind of rage that could cut anyone's soul.
Taehyung moves his gaze back on the road, pressing the gear more forcefully as the car accelerates.
They were about to cross the road but the sound of police sirens grabbed both of their attention. Scarlet throws dagger gaze at the police car approaching them. She closes her eyes briefly and sighs like she's controlling herself. She places the laptop on Taehyung's lap as he looks down at his lap and then back at Scarlet as she takes off her earpiece watching the junior office smiling at them like thinking they're doing the duty and are about to get praised.
Taehyung's eyes were about to bulge out when he saw her peaking her head out of the window as she pointed her finger towards the car, grabbing everyone's attention on the road.
" Yah! Stupid asses, turn the siren more louder so that he could hear us from miles away that we are coming for him, you stupid mother- "
" Scarlet! " Taehyung shouts making her stop for a moment as the siren of the police car stops immediately.
Taehyung pulls her in quickly by pulling her blazer " Are you crazy?!"
She yanks away his hand " Kim! Stop behaving like we are going on a trip. I'm telling you to only focus on the road not on me. Got that?"
He presses his lips in a thin line, suppressing the words he was about to say. He bites his inner check and chants in his head, only If I could tell you.
She takes the laptop from his lap, placing the earpiece again in her ear as she places the laptop on her lap again. She doesn't move her gaze away from the laptop, fingers busy working on the keyboard as she explains
" Kim Taehyung, let me tell you one thing clearly even if I ever tell you I'm about to jump off from the car. I want you to only listen to me, not to care whether the action kills me, am I clear?"
He doesn't say anything in return. After a moment of silence, the utter silence makes her look at him as she says

Scarlet's eyes crash as she inquires "what-"
