Jungkook smiles at her approval and stands up, walking to her as she looks up at him.
" All you have to do is to be with me all the time. "
Scarlet's gaze stuck on the man standing in front of her. She looks back and forth in his eyes as he passes a small smile giving a vibe of comfort instantly.
She licks her lips and nods, looking away as she responds " I need a little bit of time to accept all this. " He nods understandingly.
Taehyung looks at the commissioner and questions " What about all the affairs in the police station? Scarlet is the head of this case. Who's going to look after matters if she's not here?"
Now all eyes are attentive towards the commissioner standing in the room. He informs " I'm going to take care of all the affairs on behalf of Scarlet. No worries about that. "
Taehyung nods at his response. Silence takes over and Jungkook cuts off the silence saying " Can I have a moment of talk with Scarlet, alone "
All of them pass glances at each other. Taehyung smirks and tends to leave the room saying " Of course, they need privacy ~ " he comments emphasizing the last word, voice laced with tease as he gives a last look to scarlet before leaving the room, finding her already staring at him with a look confessing how much she wants to punch his face.
The commissioner clears his throat and leaves the room along with Minho leaving Jungkook and Scarlet alone.
Scarlet looks at them leaving the room. The door closes and her gaze moves towards Jungkook to find him already staring at her with a soft smile on his face. He takes a seat in front of her and pulls the chair a little closer to hers but at a safe distance.
