Scarlet raises her eyebrows at his remark and clears her throat as she crosses her arms in front of her chest. Taehyung notices how he gets close but also maintains a safe distance between them. Before he could walk closer, Scarlet's vision gets blocked admiring Jungkook when the man stands in front of her, shielding her, Taehyung.
A moment of silence passes and no one says a single word. Both male are having an eye contact contest, making the atmosphere of the room more tense. The officers around steals glance at each other.
Scarlet taps his shoulder and confirms "Kim, it's okay. It's safe "
He looks back at her looking for confirmation in her eyes. Finding no kind of distress in her eyes he steps back, revealing Jungkook's figure again. Scarlet runs her finger through her hair and questions " I fear Mr Jeon's expectations may be crushed. I'm not that helpful. "
He smiles a little and tilts his head "Can we have a moment of talk with you? I think there is something you would love to receive. "
She bites her inner cheek, suppressing her emotions. The person she adores the most is standing in front of her but still she can't express the building's emotions. She steals a glance at Taehyung and he nods briefly, advising her to agree.
She gets the signal and sighs saying "As it pleases you "
He bows respectfully. She nods and walks out of the room saying " Kim, escort them to my office. " He bows as she leaves the room.
Taehyung opens the door and signals them to walk ahead. Jungkook stops at the doorstep as both of them look at each other for some seconds, noticing Taehyung's siren eyes looking straight in his. Jungkook fakes a smile and lastly leaves the room, walking towards her office upstairs.
All of them walk into her office. Scarlet sits on the chair leisurely. A MacBook is on the table with some files and documents scrambled on the left corner of the table. Two empty chairs are placed across the table. Jungkook scans the whole room and takes a seat in front of her.
Taehyung stands beside scarlet, crossing his arms. His eyes are not leaving his figure as he judges him by his intense gaze. Meanwhile, Jungkook wasn't batting an eye on anyone except the woman sitting in front of him. The door swings open again and a man in a suit appears without bothering to even introduce himself. He stands behind Jungkook and bows briefly at Scarlet.
Scarlet utters " So, how can we help you, Mr Jeon? "
A small smile appears on his face as he places his arms on the table, inching closer to the table.
