-chapter 1-

-Aria's POV-

I've been hidden for almost 1000 years. :picture of Aria above:

I'm Aria Torres. I've been nineteen years old, two months and four days for a thousand years. I've also been hidden for the majority of my immortal existence. I'm not like the originals, I'm a different species. I don't even know what I am. I have unique powers that can be used as a lethal weapon if I lose control. I can be killed just like  any human, which is why I guess, they keep me hidden.
----------------------------------------------

I was used by Esther. I thought of her as a guardian figure, but she killed me in return.
When I was a little girl, around ten years of age, I had discovered my parents in my back yard with their throats tore out. I knew it was the wolves, my parents always told me how to defend myself against them, because they were bad news. I remember I yelled and screamed with tears flowing out of my eyes, screeching for them to come back. My intense anger and hurt triggered something inside of me. Everything was heightened, just like a vampire would do, my speed was abnormal to any regular vampire and an intense blood lust was present.
I felt energy surging through my veins, in the palms of my hands.

••flashback••

Aria was in Niklaus' arms, happy that she was with him. She had been there for him every time Mikael put him down. She would keep all of his secrets. Aria and Klaus were in love.
"Nik did you ever think we'd end up like this?" She asked. He sighed and looked into her hazel eyes. "I honestly didn't think someone as perfect as you would have stayed with me through everything. I don't know what I would have done without you." He kissed the tip of her nose and she snuggled into his chest.
"I don't know what you see in the boy." Mikael sneered from the door frame, looking at the two snuggled up on the chair next to the fire. Aria kept quiet. She was afraid of Mikael, everything he was capable of doing to his own son was more than enough reason.
"Tell me, what do you see in this bastard boy?" He asked in disgust, Niklaus tense as she rubbed his arm and whispered soothing things quietly into his ear. She decided to speak up.
"I'm sorry Mikael, can you please leave?" She asked politely. Mikael glared at his son and walked out of the room. "Aria he could have hurt you, my love." Niklaus told her.
"I'm fine Nik." She said, grinning to lighten the mood.

Aria was worried. Klaus and Henrik hadn't come back from outside. She searched around for a bit, but she couldn't find the pair.
Aria was sitting on the bench at the front of the small house fiddling with the loose curls of her brown hair. She needed it cut, it was almost at her waist.
"Mother! Mother help!" She heard a voice she recognised cry. Klaus. She quickly in stood up in worry and saw Klaus Carrying a body of a small boy, bloody and limp. Henrik.
"Oh my lord! Henrik?! What happened?!" She gasped helping klaus set him down on the ground gently. Esther gasped at Henrik's weak body. I could sense he was already dead. I held back tears and wrapped my arms around Klaus' shoulders whispering soothing words, but he wasn't going to calm down. "The wolves!" He cried, "The wolves got to him! It was an accident!" He wailed.
"No, no! There's got to be a way!" Esther cried and began chanting. "It's not working!" She screamed.
"I need a sacrifice!" She pleaded looking around us, all her family, but me. I gulped and looked at her with pleading eyes. "Mother, he's gone." Elijah said, his voice cracking.
Esther whispered something to Mikael and he nodded, before dragging Klaus away from my grip. "What are you doing? Stop!" Klaus yelled squirming under his fathers harsh grip. "Let him go! Please!" I cried. Esther grabbed a hold of my arm and Elijah looked at me, guilt and fear present in his eyes. "I'm truly sorry, Aria, but it's the only way." Esther whispered. "No stop! Leave her alone!" Klaus yelled fighting to be free from his fathers grip. "Elijah!" I pleaded, but he looked down. He always told me, family above all. He has to choose Esther.
Esther began chanting in a different language and I felt a sharp pain seer through my body, as if someone had cut a straight line with a knife straight through me. I collapsed to my knees, the pain being unbearable. I couldn't control my powers. The small fire beside us was put out and all the candles on the window ledge flickered. I felt my hand giving off an electric Bolt of energy. I screamed in pain. My powers were now out of my control as the air around this picked up dirt and the trees shook. "What are you!?" Esther screamed. "Leave me alone!" I cried back, then everything went black. Esther has killed me.

••••••••••••••

I have hazel eyes and light brown hair that flows a few centimetres past my collarbone in a natural wave. Im 5'5 and look like a normal, 19 year old girl.
Of course, I'm no normal 19 year old girl. I'm an immortal unknown creature. I don't know what I'm capable of, nor how to control it. I haven't had the chance to discover the full extent of my abilities, but I don't know how. It's triggered by my anger. Being a generally calm person doesn't help me see everything I am.
I haven't seen Klaus since, he's never looked for me. In fact, I haven't seen anyone but the people that keep me here since the incident.

Now, I'm planning to escape. Whether it be next month, year, however long it takes. I will escape, and when I do, I'm
heading straight to Mystic Falls.
