Please don't say anything. Please don't say anything. More specifically please don't say anything like I'm sorry or anything. Spare your pity. I want you to kiss me and tell me everything is going to fine. Wait what? Why did I think of that? Liam... kiss me? Gross! Eww. He is my best friend, I couldn't... or maybe I could... Delora stop it. You are just friends. Why could you ever think something more than that? God, you are so stupid, Delora.
His jaw dropped. He wanted to say something, but held it back and quickly closed his mouth.
"Now I understand why you smoke." He laughed.
"Now to the present stuff, Leila told me to cover up for her so I did, but she told me she was going to be with her boyfriend. Plot twist! She wasn't, I asked him. And then I went to look for her and found her at the library. She was was laying at the romantic section and she was..." I couldn't hold my tears back anymore. It was hard seeing it one time and having to narate the whole thing twice. Liam didn't make an effort trying to calm me down. He knew I needed this. For the first time in my life I needed to cry. Not hard, because we were in public. Just enough to let it all out. I completely forgot about my coffee. It might have been on the bench. Or I might have left it in the café. Where else could it be? Gosh! I can't stand my own mind sometimes. At one time I was thinking about my sister and then I was wondering where my coffee was."Hey wanna go meet Tom and Martin?" Liam interrupted my inner thinking, which I kinda appreciated because if I continued thinking, I would end up wondering why are giraffes called giraffes.
"Yeah..." I answered and wiped my tears. However my eyes were still red and puffy and they sparked a bit. I looked like I was a bit high. But no I wasn't. I just hope no one notices. "Were do we meet?"
"At the skateboard park."
"Shit! I forgot to bring my skateboard."
"You walked from your home here? Things are really serious." We laughed.
"Shut up, dork. I will take yours, I don't have a problem."
"Get that thought out of your mind right now. No one touches my skateboard."
"Yeah, sure." I mumbled and we walked to the park. Tom and Martin were already waiting for us."Hey! Um... Dels? Where is your skateboard?" Tom asked.
"I was already out and I am sure that nobody will be happy to see me at home. In fact I don't think they even care if I return."
"Your parents can't be that bad." Oh Martin. There are so many things you don't know about me.
"Nevermind I'll get Mr. Shithead's here." I pointed at Liam.
"I already told you no." Then I did those puppy eyes I know he can't resist and I get him to give me his skateboard.
