The day Kierra had been waiting for finally arrived. She had everything perfectly planned. She'd told Tasha she needed to go to the office for work, but in reality, she was headed to the airport to pick up Tasha's mom, Bertha.

Kierra drove to the airport, her excitement growing with each mile. When she finally saw Bertha, she gave her a big hug. "Hi, Bertha! I'm so glad you made it."

"Hi, Kierra," Bertha said with a smile. "Thank you for arranging all this. I'm excited to see Tasha."

"Me too," Kierra said. "Let's get you home. We've got a lot to prepare."

They drove back to Kierra and Tasha's house. Kierra made sure Bertha was comfortable before heading inside to get everything ready for the surprise. She had planned a private dinner at a special location with their family there to witness the big moment.

Kierra had arranged for a local venue to be set up with a beautiful table, candles, flowers, and fairy lights. She wanted it to be perfect for Tasha. The venue was decorated in a way that created a romantic and intimate atmosphere.

As Kierra worked with the staff to finalize the setup, she made sure everything was in place. The dinner was prepared, and the decorations were perfect. She then returned to the house to get Tasha.

When Kierra arrived back home, she found Tasha in their living room, still unaware of the evening's plans. "Hey, Tasha," Kierra said. "I'm back. Ready for a little surprise?"

Tasha looked curious. "A surprise? What is it?"

Kierra grinned. "You'll see. Just get dressed up a bit. We're going out for a special dinner."

Tasha's eyes sparkled with excitement. "Okay, I'll get ready."

While Tasha prepared, Kierra quickly made sure everything was in order. Bertha was waiting nearby, along with a few close friends and family members who had come to share this moment. Kierra gave everyone a quick briefing about how the evening would unfold.

When Tasha was ready, Kierra took her hand and led her to the car. They drove to the venue, and Tasha was pleasantly surprised to see the beautifully decorated space.

As they walked in, Tasha's eyes widened in amazement. "Wow, Kierra! This is incredible. How did you manage all this?"

Kierra smiled. "I wanted to make tonight unforgettable for us."

They were led to the table, where Bertha and the others were waiting. Tasha's eyes filled with tears.

As Tasha looked around the beautifully decorated venue, her eyes filled with tears of joy. She saw her mom, Bertha, and their close friends and family waiting at the table. She was overwhelmed by the surprise.

"Mom!" Tasha exclaimed, rushing over to her mother. They embraced tightly, both of them crying happy tears. "I can't believe you're here! How did this happen?"

Bertha smiled through her own tears. "Kierra arranged everything. She wanted this night to be special for both of us."

Tasha looked at Kierra, her heart full of love and gratitude. "Kierra, this is incredible. Thank you so much."

Kierra took Tasha's hand and led her to the beautifully set table. "I wanted to celebrate our love and make tonight memorable. I've been planning this for a while."

The family and friends gathered around, sharing smiles and congratulations. Kierra and Tasha enjoyed a wonderful meal, filled with laughter and heartfelt conversations. The ambiance of the venue, with its candles and fairy lights, created the perfect setting for the evening.

As the meal concluded, Kierra stood up, gently taking Tasha's hand. "There's one more thing I'd like to do tonight."

With everyone's attention focused on them, Kierra led Tasha to a quieter corner of the venue. The area was lit softly with candles, casting a warm glow around them. Kierra took a deep breath, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves.

"Tasha," Kierra began, "Tonight has been so special, and I wanted to share something even more special with you. Over the years, you've brought so much joy and love into my life. I can't imagine my future without you."

Kierra reached into her pocket and pulled out the ring she had chosen with Shamika. She held it up, its sparkle reflecting the soft light.

"Tasha, will you marry me?"

Tasha's eyes widened as she looked at the ring and then back at Kierra. Tears of happiness streamed down her face. "Yes, Kierra. Yes, I will marry you!"

Kierra slipped the ring onto Tasha's finger, both of them embracing tightly as their friends and family cheered. The room was filled with applause and joyful exclamations.

The evening continued with heartfelt congratulations, laughter, and celebration. Kierra and Tasha enjoyed the rest of their special night surrounded by the people they loved. It was a perfect proposal, and they both knew it was the beginning of a beautiful new chapter in their lives.
