Patrick and Yaz both looked out the window of the plane. They could see Nublar's vast mountains giving them flashbacks. Patrick could see the mountain that the news had been talking about for months.

Mt Sibo

A once dormant volcano now ready to make the dinosaurs extinct again.

After a while the plane made its way down a runway. Once it stopped, Claire got out first, followed by Zia and Franklin, then Owen. Patrick and Yaz both sighed before exiting. The couple saw Owen shaking one of the merc's hand.

"That guys probably in charge." Yaz whispered. Patrick nodded as the man turned to them.

"You two must be Yasmina and Patrick." The man said. "Names Weatly."

"This really is a lot for an operation like this." Yaz pointed out.

"Mr. Lockwood takes his humanitarian ops really serious." Weatly said not convincing Yaz and Patrick. "We're loading up."

Patrick raised an eyebrow.

"Where?" Yaz questioned.

"God!"

The couple turned to see Franklin sweating and taking his sweater off.

"It's hot!" Franklin complained, causing Zia to roll her eyes.

Patrick and Yaz looked up at mt Sibo.

"It's about to get a lot hotter" Owen pointed out as the group got into an armored truck. Patrick and Yaz sat next to each other while Owen and Claire got in the truck behind them.

Timeskip

The trucks moved through the thick dense jungle. Then they saw the lagoon. A few minutes later, they drove along Main Street causing Yaz and Patrick to look at each other knowingly.

"Bad memories?" Weatly asked.

"Well... Some were good." Yaz said smiling at Patrick. Patrick smiled back.

"Really good." Patrick said when the truck came to a sudden stop. Suddenly the group heard stomping coming from the innovation center. Zia looked out the window and gasped.

"I need to see this." Zia said rushing out.

"Zia wait!" Yaz and Patrick yelled chasing her.

"Zia, this is..." Patrick tried to say but stopped when a brachiosaurus stomped in front of the innovation center. It let out a roar to the sky causing everyone to stare at it in awe.

"I... I forgot..." Yaz said shakily. "I forgot how beautiful it was."

Patrick smiled as the Dino walked out of view.

Timeskip

The group entered one of the park's old tracking centers. Patrick and Yaz pulled Owen aside.

"Owen, we know where Spike is." Patrick said. "Blaze shouldn't be a problem for you guys."

"Well, then why didn't you tell us that?" Owen questioned.

"Because this Weatly guy it up to something." Yaz answered, her voice low. "Owen, just trust us We need to do this alone."

Owen thought for a moment.

"Alright. Be back quickly." Owen ordered. Patrick and Yaz nodded and got on a motorbike. Yaz wrapped her arms around Patrick as the archer drove away.

Camp

Patrick and Yaz got off the bike and looked around. The camp that they had built was completely shrouded in vines. The wood was weathered. Patrick's old lookout tower was completely toppled.

"This, this brings me back." Yaz said as she looked towards the grave of Slade Wilson, which was still intact. Patrick frowned at the sight of his dad's grave.

Suddenly, the ground rumbled.

"That mountains going to erupt soon." Patrick pointed out. "We have to hurry."

The two heard a familar roar in the distance.

"Kara." Patrick growled when they heard gunshots in the same direction.

Suddenly bushes to their side began rustling. The two stood side by side ready when suddenly, Spike jumped through and smiled at them.

"Spike!" Patrick yelled rushing to hug the raptor. Spike roared and licked Patrick's face. "I missed you too girl."

Yaz joined the hug when suddenly, about 10 mercenaries emerged from the jungle. Patrick and Yaz spun around.

"What are you doing?!" Patrick yelled as Spike growled.

"Following orders." One of the mercs said. Spike turned and saw one of them aiming a rifle at her. She roared and leaped on him scratching him. The man screamed in pain as he pulled out a pistol.

"No!" Patrick screamed but it was too late. The merc fired his pistol and Spike roared in pain before falling to the ground.

Yaz's hand flew to her mouth as Patrick rushed to Spike's side. She was still alive, but barely. Patrick glared at the leader before aiming an arrow at him. The merc simply just fired his tranquilizer gun into Patrick's chest causing him to fall to the ground.  

(A/N): I want to clear some things up. this and dominion are currently my top two priorities but they aren't cannon to the original story. and thus, an important change is being made. In the movie cannon, Kara never had babies. She also never helped Patrick and remained his enemy. This change wont be really important until Dominion
