Welcome Back to Jurassic World
Patrick, Yasmina, Claire, Owen, Franklin, Zia and Maisie entered the garage of the Lockwood Manor, where a toxic gas was being released. The dinosaurs were all trapped in a cage, trying to get out.
"They're dying." Claire said in horror.
"The blast damaged the ventilation system. We did everything we could" Zia explained sadly. Patrick stared at the Dino's. They weren't going to survive this.
Claire then approached the control panel, and began taping on a screen.
"I can open the gates from here." Claire said as Patrick and Yaz held hands.
"Claire." Owen said. "Be careful"
Claire ignored him and opened the gates to every cage. Patrick could see every species that made if off Nublar rushing out, one by one. Patrick could see that the Carnivores weren't even going after the herbivores. They were just trying to get out.
They Dino's all began desperately searching for a way out. Claire spotted a big red button, one that probably would open the garage. She flipped up the glass cover and hovered her hand over the button, hestitating. As much as Patrick and Yaz wanted to save the Dino's, if she opened those doors, the world would change forever.
"Claire, you open that door, there is no going back." Owen pointed out.
"I... I can't let them die." Claire whispered. Patrick and Yaz both frowned as Claire debated with herself.
After a few seconds, Claire made her choice and covered the button with the glass. She let out a sob as she looked out the window, overlooking the dinosaurs. Patrick and Yaz held hands as the dinosaurs desperately tried to find a way out, both of them softly crying.
Suddenly, the garage door began slowly opening, gaining all the dinosaurs attention. They turned towards the exit and began stampeding out as fast as they could.
Patrick and Yaz both turned to a see Maisie pushed the button.
"I had to. They're alive. Like me." Maisie said. Patrick and Yaz frowned as the dinosaurs began to run out into the world, one by one.
Meanwhile outside, Mills was loading the Indominus Rex sample into his car, with the help of the remaining mercenaries, when suddenly, the ground began rumbling. Mills looked down the massive hallway leading to the garage when suddenly, a pteranodon picked up a mercenary. The merc screamed as the flying reptile dropped him onto the car, killing him.
Mills gasped and turned around to the massive herd of dinosaurs trampling the other mercenaries. Mills ran under his car, screaming as the car began shaking, the ground rumbling.
A few minutes later, it stopped. The dinosaurs were gone. He good out from under the car and looked at the Indominus sample that was still intact. What he didn't know was a yellow eyed horn Carchodontasaurus was watching him. As he reached for the sample, he was picked up by Rexy's jaws. He screamed in pain as the Rex began to chew his body, ripping his leg off. Kara tried to grab the leg but Rexy smacked Kara away. The shark tooth lizard running from the bigger dinosaur.
Rexy stood up and roared over her new kingdom, stepping on the Indominus sample as she took her leave.
Meanwhile the Patrick and Yasmina slowly walked out of Lockwood, followed by the others. Suddenly, Spike and Blue stood below them.
"Patrick..." Owen started but Yaz shushed him
"It's okay, they won't hurt us." Yasmina assured as Patrick slowly approached Spike. He stuck her hand out towards her snout. She leaned into the archer's hand and and growled softly. Yaz joined her boyfriend and held Spike's head.
"Spike come with us." Patrick said softly causing Spike to let out a chitter. "We'll take you somewhere safe, okay?"
Spike stood up and looked between the archer and Blue. Patrick frowned as Spike stood next to Blue and the two raptors sprinted away.
Maisie hugged Patrick tightly. Patrick frowned and hugged her back, Yaz joining the hug. The trio looked at the two raptors who looked back at the humans, roaring, before disappearing in the woods.
1 week later
"How many times do you have to see the evidence?"
Patrick went through their fridge of his cabin, grabbing two bottles of beer. He turned to his girlfriend Yasmina who was leaning on the counter. He handed her one of the bottles, prompting her to walk towards the door to the front yard.
"How many times must the point be made? We're causing our own extinction. To many redlines have been crossed."
Patrick and Yaz exited the cabin to see Ben Pincus, Darius Bowman, Sammy Gutierrez, Kenji Kon, Brooklyn and Mia Grady all sitting around a camp overlooking a forest below them. They weren't old enough to drink yet, so they just had glasses of water. No one said a word. They knew what just happened.
"And our home has in fundamental ways been polluted by avarice and political megolomaina. Genetic power has now been unleashed. And of course that's gonna be catastrophic. This change was inevitable from the moment we brought the first dinosaur back from extinction."
The Nublar Seven, and well as Patrick's sister all stared into the fire bitterly. None of them took a sip from their drinks. Now, they were back on Nublar and Mantah Corp all over again. Except this time, there was no escape.
"Humans and dinosaurs are now gonna be forced to coexist. These creatures were here before us. And if we're not careful, they're gonna be here after. We're gonna have to adjust to new threats that we can't imagine."
Sammy looked out on the view. The others looked and saw a flock of pteranodons flying above the forest.
"We've entered a new era..."
Patrick opened his beer bottle and held it up towards the group.
"Welcome back to Jurassic World" Patrick whispered, his voice low as he took a sip of his beer.
