Chapter 14 : As tired as a dog

Tong Yao pov :

I was in front of my screen, when a large pile of books and papers landed next to me, I looked at the pile with an eyebrow raised, then Looked up to see Ming

Ming : "Tong Yao, let's begin our training, today I am going to start from being a professional e-sport player, the ultimate goal of practicing in a game is not to achieve individual victory but a team one during the process"

I was nodding at him as if I understood something

The following days were very similar, I couldn't help myself yawning during Ming's lessons 'cause I barely had any sleep at night, every time I won a round, I look at him and all he say was "another round", That day while Ming was in the kitchen, he left me practicing, I looked at his direction and while he wasn't looking, I took the chance to play a little cards game to relax, I played for like half an hour when I heard Ming's footsteps approaching, I quickly made back the game, as he stood behind me I looked at my copybook as if focused, He took my mouse and appeared back my cards game and looked at me with an eyebrow raised, I hastily looked down on my lap

Finally as I decided to take some rest, I posted a new tweet on my account "so tired. As tired as a dog"

Then my phone rang, I picked up as it was Jinyang

Me : hallo

"Yao Yao, you're up so early"

Me : I actually didn't have any sleep

"I just sent you a picture, check out your WeChat"

I checked the photo she sent to see a photo of her on the beach

Me : that's why Ai Jia's been saying he couldn't find you anywhere, turns out you are enjoying your own retreat, what happened to the promise of favoring your besties? My advice, be a human please

Tong Yao walked down the stairs yawning and rubbing her tired eyes not really excited about forming a duo with K, before she could sit on her chair between K's and Cheng's who wasn't there by the way, Chubby ran to her

"Ming arranged all this" he whispered to her ear

Tong Yao sat on her chair and gave herself awaking slaps on the cheeks then threw nervous glances at K who was sitting next to her and didn't even look at her

"I am ready" she said in a nervous tone

K nodded lazily, Tong Yao went to choose a character to start the game

"Damn"

"What's up? Who did you get?" Asked her Chubby behind her, then he looked at her screen to see the character "this sunflower, why does it seem so familiar?"Chubby asked raising an eyebrow at Yao's screen, but to Tong Yao, it was clear who's character this was.....

At the other side of the screen, Yang was about to start a game when he spotted Tong Yao's character on his screen and a smirk

"Yao, what a coincidence, make it a good one, I will cover you" he said to his self as he entered the game as the name as "sunflower"

"Yang!" said Chubby clapping his hands together as he finally realized who was that "sunflower"

Cheng was about to go to sleep when a notification rang on his phone, he checked it to see what Tong Yao had posted on tweeter : "So tired, as tired as a dog". He put his phone aside and decided to join the game

"As tired as a dog" he smirked
