Chapter 8: Back to normal

After opening my eyes I saw a Blanc celling above me, you knew where you were. You had been in the butterfly estate countless times. You heard voices, it seemed that your fellow hashiras where eating in the same room you laid due to collapsing. You deiced to stay still, your body still hurt from your previous missions. You overheard them talking about you. "How long do you think it will take until she wakes up? It's already been 3 days since she collapsed..." 'So I was laying here for the last three days?!'You wanted that the others notice that you had woken up, but you could not move or speak... You only could breathe and move your eyes. They finished eating and some of the hashiras were about to leave the room, when Giyu finally noticed that you were awake. He stepped over to you and then turned his head to leaving hashiras "She is awake" he mumbled, they turned to him than their gaze shifted to you. Mitsuri was the first beside your bed, she gave you a tight hug "D-do you want to k-kill me?" you whispered, you could not speak louder at the moment. "Oh, IM SO SORRY" She let go of you and took a step to the side so that Kanae could pass through. "My, my since when were you awake?" you tried to think, it was not that long ago maybe 20 minutes "20 Minutes" you said and looked around everyone surrounded you bed and starred down at you. "Could it be you have not eaten nor sleep the past few days?" You looked at Kanae and nodded your head; you sometimes just have not the time for eating or sleeping, sad ik. "And for this reason" Shinobu continued "we all make sure that you sleep and eat properly for the next month. Until you can handle it on your own. We made a shift plan and everyday one of us will make sure you take care of yourself." You wanted to disagree, but you knew it was pointless and just accepted it how it was. It would be pretty fun to see at least one of them every day.

-Time skip-

After staying another day at the butterfly estate you were finally allowed to go home. Muichiro came with you, he had the first shift. You thought it was kind of funny, you watched grow up and now he takes care of you (I aged him up sooo yeah...he is now 18). We walked in to my estate it was a big house, not as big as the butterfly estate but it could still fit about 20 people inside. Muichiro sat down on the big sofa placed in the corner of the big living room. "Do you want something to drink?" He came over to me and pushed me on the sofa. "I'm supposed to take care of you, not the other way around... So what do you want to drink?" You smiled at his comment "I have some orange juice in the pantry, I would take a glass of that." He nodded and went to leave for the kitchen.

He came back with two glasses of orange juice and sat beside me. We were talking about some stuff, a conversation with him is something else, he is pretty emotionless due to hits Memory trauma thing. You also had suffered from memory loss but that not taken away your emotion. "Do you sometime, wish you could remember your past?" He asked out of the blue. "Of course, I wish that all the time. What if I still have family somewhere, who is still waiting for my return!?" He looked at me and tilted his head "I never thought about that, but thanks to Amane, the wife of the master, I know my family is dead. I don't know if I had a sister or a brother. I just know they are dead." We both looked depressed; you wished your memories would come back.

Back at the Butterfly estate:

Tanjiro just had finished his daily training, when he decided to visit Nezuko. Kanae had allowed Nezuko to stay; she really adored the demon girl and spends time playing with her almost every day. Much to her boyfriend dislike. Sanime still did not accepted Nezuko, but he did not say anything because he did not to make Kanae mad or something. "Nezuko?" He entered the room and looked around for his little sister. She jumped at him from behind her box and gave Tanjiro a hug. They settled down and Tanjiro began telling story's about him, Inosuke and Zenitsu. The three of them became good friends after the fight against lower 5. "Nezuko? Did that girl from the hashiras meeting not seemed somehow familiar?" He asked his sister not expecting a real answer "MH mm mhm!" Somehow Tanjiro could understand his sister "I thought so too, she was the girl our parents had a picture of on top of the fireplace" After saying that he noticed Nezuko fast asleep on his lap. He put her on the futon and left the room to go, to sleep as well.
