Chapter 16: Good Night

Hours passed of just chatting with each other, it was time to go to bed. So everyone, who had not already done so, put on their sleeping cloths and laid down. "It is cold" Shinobu said in a calm ton. It was really cold, nobody had really noticed how cold it was because they were too busy with their chats. Shinobu was pretty small so she was even more cold then the others. After seeing Shinobu fighting the cold Giyu could no longer watch. He pulled her out of her futon and pulled her into his chest. "My, my what are you doing Tomioka?" he sighed "You said your cold so I'm warming you... Or should I let you freeze alone?" Shinobu blushed at his actions and words. "No, thanks Tomioka" she said closing her eyes. The others just watched and so came that Sanime did the same with Kanae and Obanai, after debating for a few seconds, did the same to Mitsuri. She squealed in excitement, she was not that cold. She was used to the cold temperatures after all it was her estate. It was cute watching everyone getting hugged by their lover or boyfriend. It was funny; even though you were the ice hashira you did not like the cold weather. You tried to fall asleep, but you could not hold back to slightly shiver due to the cold. Suddenly you felt someone pulling you into his chest. It was Muichiro, who noticed your shiver and took matters into his own hands. His body was warm and you felt safe. You looked around everyone was staring at the two of you, but you did not mind. After another few moments Tengen pulled Rengoku closer all of you looked shocked "What!? I need body warmth too you know. And I don't want to feel left out TcT" "Good night everyone" Mitsuri said and closed her eyes.

The sun was already up when you slowly opened your eyes. "I did not want to wake you up, so I stayed in bed" a voice said just inches away from you ear. You started to recall everything what happened last night 'Fuck I fell asleep right in his arms and his voice is so fucking calm what do you do!!!?' You turned around and saw right into his blue eyes. "Thanks, I really needed some good sleep" you said gave him a small hug and stood up. "Where are the others?" you said while getting your hairbrush from your small (F/C) bag. "They are in the kitchen and eating" he said while sitting up on the blue futon "You should go eat something, I will change and will join you. Ok?" he just nodded and after putting on your kimono you went to the kitchen and joined the others who were again just chatting. Everything was nice until tengens crow came through the open window and gave him message, which was attached on his small foot. <his mood changed almost instantly "What's wrong Tengen?" you said and looked at his facial expression. „My wives are in danger, they were on mission to get Intel in the red light district and according to this message my one wife got "sick" so she can't take customers. I'm sorry but I have to get some female slayers and rescue them!" Nobody messes with the wives of Tengen "Can I come along, I really need some mission to get started again?" he mustered you a nodded "Sure I will send the information to the master" You went back to the room you had slept in and put on your uniform. It was kind of a long skirt with a small piece on your leg which was shorter so you could move better and you top was had opened shoulders and long sleeves. You heard a knock and asked the person inside "Muichiro!?" why was he here "What do you need?" he pulled you into a tight hug "Promise me to come back alive" you blushed hard his ways was so calm yet so strict "I promise, I will come back alive " you said smiling slowly patting his back. That on the other hand made him blush slightly. There it was again... this safe felling like nobody could harm you right now. "(Y/N) are you coming!?" you wanted to stay like this for eve, but duty calls. Muichiro and you went to the big gate of Mitsuris estate "I hope you don't mind that my bags still in the room" "No of course I don't mind I will get your cloth cleaned and after your mission you can pick them up" Mitsuri was always so nice. "Then we will better get going we need to save my wives!" You two began sprinting and you just followed tengens lead "So where we heading, you said you need multiple slayers" he grinded "Kocho would not like this, but I take some of the girls there" he said "You know the two of them will be pissed if they find out..." "Nah" end of discussion

The was rest of the walk was silent until you saw the Butterfly estate. "We are here!" Tengen just vanished into thin air. 'He was fast' he appeared on the gate of the state with two girls on under his arm and one on his shoulder. "Leave her go" you jumped next Tengen to look who's voice was screaming at Tengen. The butterfly girls were the ones who screamed at him... "Ehm Tengen she is not even in uniform and just a child" you said while pointing at one of the butterfly triplets "In that case..." he just threw her back to the other girls. You reacted and before she could hit the ground you caught her "Thank you Miss (L/N)" the girl said sobbing. You just smiled at her and put her down. "Who tried hurting a girl!?" Zenitsu asked with veins popping on his head. Long story short your brother, Zenitsu and Inosuke agreed to go with us on the mission. The cute thing was after Tengen let go of Aoi, the other butterfly girl Tengen was holding, Inosuke went to make sure she was alright... In his own way "Hey Aioli you ok?" she nodded in respond and did not seem to care that he was saying here name wrong 'A-O-I how could you get 3 letters wrong?!'

Tengen hold a speech about how he is the god of festivals and blah blah. Inosuke introduced himself as king of the Mountains "That's stupid" Tengen said with a confused look. "You both are stupid" Zenitsu screamed. He then noticed you just standing there "And you are..?" You looked at him, he was kinda creepy "(Y/N)" you responded with a smile. "(Y/N) will you marry me!?" you could not even answer before Tanjiro slapped Zenitsu "Stop hitting on my sisters, it bad enough that you are hitting on Nezuko, but (Y/N) is like 6 years older!!?" Zenitsu stood there in shock "WHY ARE YOUR SISTERS ALL SUCH ANGELS!!!? MARRY ME BOTH" Tanjiro and you both hit him on his head and then started to run after Tengen. For you it was no challenge, but the boys had problems to not lose the hashiras out of sight.
