Alina

The man standing in front of me was stunning.

His eyes were like molten chocolate, glowing with magic swirling through them.

His dark hair was pulled up into a ponytail made up of dark dreads. He was beautiful.

I was immediately drawn in, and the obvious muscles didn't help any either.

Trying to remain respectful, I tried my hardest not to stare, but that was much easier said than done.

My eyes kept darting towards him, and he caught my eye more than once as I tried not to stare.

After Axel finished his speech the coven was introduced to the wolves. It was plainly obvious that there wasn't enough room for all the witches. The wolves population was eighty but had built about sixty houses. That left about five homes unoccupied, but was no where near enough for all the coven to sleep.

Axel had quickly been pulled into conversation with one of the witches, and the girls were busy talking with one of the elders in the coven.

I discreetly slipped away into the woods.

My magic was no where enough to build houses, but that didn't mean I couldn't help.

I looked around the pack until I spotted Kulen and Jacob.

They were the ones who had the best ability suited towards building houses.

"Kulen, Jacob, you two free?" And like that we were headed towards the woods.

Kulen would cut down the tree, I'd regrow it, and Jacob would use his weird floaty ability to assemble it.

"Why didn't you speak durring the introduction?" Kulen asked.

"I wasn't sure what to say." I told him honestly.

"You should talk to Koria about you being in planning. You're quick on your feet, easy to plan. You're strategic." He told me.

Jacob stayed quite durring the exchange. He didn't speak much.

"I'm not so sure."

"You immediately knew to come to us for help. You aren't afraid to ask for help. You knew what they needed and made a move." Jacob spoke up.

He was very similar in looks too Kulen. Both were tall with dark brown hair and similar deep skin tones, but their eyes were the biggest difference. Kulen had brown eyes while Jacob had one green and one brown eye.

"Talk to Koria about it, you'd make a great fit." Kulen told me.

We worked mostly in silence over the next few hours, right up until Koria made an apperance with the attractive man from earlier.

"I'm suprised by this Alina. It really is honorable, what you're doing." She spoke.

I opened my mouth to speak, only for Jacob to speak up, his eyes focused on his task and voice deep.

"She refuses to take credit. She planned it, but won't accept gratitude."

Kulen, ever the charming one, quickly intercepted.

"She's much to polite, though we both feel as though she could be working in a more valuable station once she gets her confidence up." I sent him a glare, and finally spoke.

"It was glaringly obvious they needed more housing, doesn't take a genius to figure that out, nor do I have low self esteem. I simply refuse to take the spotlight when you two have spent days, weeks, with the other wolves building homes."
