Super Strength

This is the story about how Raphael got his super strength.

That day began as a normal day. Raph was playing with Spike, and Mikey was playing with his toys. Both the 6 year old  turtles hadn't got a single power yet, and they were jealous that Leo and Donnie had powers already. They looked at the duo with envy. Leo used his freeze breath to turn milk into ice cream, and Donnie used his telekinesis to hold his ice cream.

"You guys want some ice cream?" Leo asked.

Mikey was about to answer, but Raph covered his mouth.

"No. We're fine." He said sharply.

"Suit yourselves." Donnie said as he took another lick of his.

Raph looked over to Mikey, who looked a bit upset.

"Don't worry, Mikey. We don't need powers to have fun." He said as he pulled him to the pinball machine. They started to play on their for a while. While Raph went to the bathroom, Mikey wanted to get a closer look at the game, so he climbed on top of it. As soon as he did, it started to fall forward, and it fell onto his legs. He let out a blood curdling screen that sent everyone to him.

"Mikey, what happened?" Donnie asked.

Mikey was sobbing so much he couldn't talk.

"We need to lift it up." Raph said.

"We're not strong enough to do that." Leo said.

"I don't care!" Raph put his hands under and started to lift. It was very heavy, and at one point, he wanted to give up. But he didn't.

"For my brother." He lifted once more, and his eyes began to glow as the game was lifted off the ground and high into the air. Everyone looked at him in amazement, even little Mikey, who stopped crying at this point.

"Donnie, pull him out." Raph said.

Donnie used his telekinesis to lift Mikey out from under it. Them Raph put the game back upright.

"Raph, how did you do that?" Leo asked.

"I don't know. But we gotta help Mikey." He said as the tot silently cried into his hands. They took him to Master Splinter so he could check his leg.

Turns out his leg was fractured and he needed to cast it for 6 weeks. Once he was bandaged up, they brought him back to the sitting room.

"Raph?"

"Yes, Mikey."

"Thanks for saving me." He said as he shuffled to hug him. Raph pulled him closer.

"It's OK, Mikey. I'm just glad your OK." He said.

"And I'm super glad you found your power." Mikey grinned.

"Yea, super strength is a really cool power."

Leo and Donnie walked in, holding four ice cream cones.

"Now do you want some ice cream?" Donnie asked.

Raph looked at Mikey, them looked back at them.

"Yea, we'll take some."
