Laser Eyes

This is the story of how Mikey got his laser eyes.

Mikey came out of his room with 10 different size boxes in his hands. He tripped over a crack and fell down. The boxes would've fallen all over the room if Donnie hadn't used his telekinesis to save them.

"Thanks, Donnie." He said, getting up from the floor.

"No problem. Why do you need all these boxes anyway?" He asked.

"Well, Master Splinter said we need to work on strengthening our powers. So I'm trying to see how many layers of boxed I can look through." He said.

"Hey, how about I help you. In each layer, I can put something in it so you can tell me what you see." Donnie said.

"That'll be awesome. Thanks, bro." He said as they made their way to the sitting area.

Donnie went and got some small stuff around the lair to put in the boxes while Mikey closed his eyes. Once he was done, he opened his eyes and looked through the first box.

"A rock." He said.

"Right."

"Second box is... a bottle cap."

"Yup."

"Third is..... a tissue."

"Correct."

Just then, Raph walked into the room, and Leo teleported in.

"What are you guys doing?" Raph asked.

"We're working on Mikey's x-ray vision." Donnie said.

"We wanna watch." Leo said, teleporting next to Mikey.

"Fourth is........ a hair band."

"You got it." Don said.

This continued until the tenth one. Where Mikey was straining his eyes.

"Tenth one is..........." He strained.

"Come on, Mikey. You got this." Leo said.

"Almost there." Raph added.

"What do you see?" Donnie asked.

Mikey's eyes went from a sparkly orange to a glowy orange. Suddenly, lasers shot out of his eyes, sending him backwards.

"What was that?" Donnie asked.

"I don't know. Mikey?" Raph asked.

Mikey sat up off the couch and looked at the box, which now had a big burnt hole in it.

"I have no idea what happened." He said.

"I think Mikey just got a new power." Leo said.

"Really?" Raph said.

"Well, it makes more sense. Mikey, try it again." Donnie said.

Mikey focused on the box, and just like before, lasers came out of his eyes.

"Wow! Awesome, I have laser eyes!" He said, zapping the box over and over again.

"Well, this is going to be fun." Raph whispered to Donnie.

For the rest of the day, Mikey zapped everything in sight. From tissues to the walls itself. He sure knew that he was gonna have fun with this new power.
