The great house Baratheon had many great warriors, the men of the house were charge, the women were made for birthing. Genevieve Strong was married into house Baratheon for political reasons, she had to marry the much older Moreu Baratheon, she was merely 15 when she married him, 16 when she him a son, then another, then another, and another, then she had a sweet daughter, Silena. After her birth, the Lady Genevieve Strong, was now gone, blood all around her body, tears slipping from her eyes, she was dead. Silena had grown into a fine young woman, she stole the hearts of many men, causing people to believe she was a witch. She and her older brother's got along well, they cared for her, they taught her how to use a sword, taught her how to walk, talk, write, they taught her everything their father couldn't. For some odd reason, the girls father hated her with every bone in his body, she had done nothing but be born a woman, if she had been born a son she would be cherished like everyone else around her. Her father tried to marry her off to an old lord simply to get rid of her, but the proposal didn't work, the lord declined since she was just ten.

129 ac — The Baratheon's lived in the Storm Lands for years, but they soon decided to go to court for petitions because of their oaths to the princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, her son's birthright was being questioned by Hightowers, whom also bent the knee to Rhaenyra. Silena didn't know much of each family but she knew the Targaryens had a lot of dragons, and the Hightowers had Old Town. Once the family arrived they were greeted by many lords and ladies from court, servants helping them inside the keep, they entered the throne room and took their places near Rhaenyra and her family, Jacaerys had looked over slightly and saw a beautiful girl, she had very long curly dark hair, and blue eyes, he had never seen someone so gorgeous.

Selina stood next to her brother's Sihtric and Soren. Lord Vaemond Velaryon had moved standing in the middle of the hall, "Her children are bastards! And she is a whore." Vaemond yelled, pointing at Rhaenyra and her son's. "I, will have your tongue." Viserys spoke weakly, Daemon sliced off Vaemond's head, leaving only is tongue and lower body. The court was in shock with what happened, the king started coughing and was soon taken out of the room.

The king invited Moreu and his family to join is in a dinner, Moreu politely accepted, his children quickly got ready and headed down the hall to the dining room, Silena wore a black dress with some cleavage showing but not too much, her brother's wore black tunics and vest to look presentable. They sat down near Daemon and his niece/wife the princess Rhaenyra, before they could sit the siblings bowed their heads to the family, being respectful of their actions since their father refused to come with them. The boys made Silena sit next to Daemon since they were scared of the man, Silena gave Daemon a soft which he surprisingly returned, her brother's sat right next to her, the Baratheon children didn't speak to anyone but themselves, they felt as if they didn't belong at that dinner, it was a family dinner, and they were no family to those Targaryen's. The king gave a speech, which made the children go quiet, the brothers and Silena gave each other confused looks not daring to question. The prince Jacaerys looked over at Silena, who had been in a conversation with her brother Syrion, he wanted to talk to her so badly, but he couldn't bring himself to do it. The princess Helaena Targaryen gave a speech which made the children even more confused then they already were, Jace soon stood up and grabbed Helaena's hand for a dance, Silena had noticed this and smiled to herself, Helaena deserved this happiness, she didn't know the girl very well but she knew she was kind, and she knew very little of her husband/brother Prince Aegon, she knew he was a drunk and cared little for duty, she did not blame him though, his parents were rarely around for him growing up and now he was alone, he had no one, so he found comfort in drinking his days away. Sihtric heard the prince Lucerys giggling at something, looking right at the other end of the table, Sihtric grew curious and slightly looked over, he saw the prince Aemond who slammed his fist against the table, which made everyone silent. "Final tribute. To my nephews Jace, Luke, Joffrey, each of them handsome, wise, strong." Aemond said mockingly, Silena knew of the rumors that circulated around her uncle, Harwin and his 'sons' but she thought they were just rumors. "I dare you say that again." Jace dared, "Why? T'was only a compliment, do you not think yourself strong?" Aemond said taunting him, Jace threw a punch that barely moved Aemond, the prince pushed him to the ground, Jace tried to get back into his face to fight more but was grabbed by guards. The Baratheon's quickly fled the scene, going to Silena's chambers to gossip about what just happened, each of the brothers shared a room, Syrion and Sonnen, and Sihtric and Soren. Silena got her own chambers since she was the only girl, each of their chambers were only one door away from each other, which they had requested. "What's just happened?" Questioned Sonnen, "No clue." Answered Syrion, "And I thought we were the screwed up family." Soren said quietly, they all laughed at his comment, "That family is confusing, that speech the king gave of loving them all but letting his grandson go unpunished for taking his own sons eye is a bit weird don't you think?" Silena said, laced with pity, "Yeah, the king is growing sicker and sicker, once I saw his face my apatite disappeared." Said Sihtric,  "I'm pretty sure everyone's did." Sonnen said, the kids spent that whole night giggling and talking about random gossip they had heard.
