After coming back to Pakistan Zulaid got busy in his hospital and Inara kept thinking about her career choices. Everyone was asking her about her future plans. Her parents wanted her to become a gynecologist.
It was another evening when Zulaid came back from his clinic earlier today. Inara was having coffee in the lawn with Hamad whose working hours were very comfortable.
"Hi" Zulaid bent his head down and kissed Inara's head from the back.
"Oh you are already here" She turned her face to look at him. She was happy at his early arrival.
"Cringe" Hamad muttered looking at him.
"You? Right!" Zulaid pointed at him with a smile.
"Bhai! After marrying her you became a different man. It's been ages since I saw you in anger" Hamad asked her smilingly.
"Perks of being married" Zulaid chuckled.
"He is so jealous of us" Inara mumbled.
"Oh please see your face in the mirror. Moti churail" Hamad never forgot to treat her sisterly.
(Fat witch)
"Oi! Shut up" Zulaid shushed him.
"Joroo ka ghulam" Hamad muttered under his breath.
"Han hoon joroo ka ghulam" Zulaid didn't mind.
Inara stuck her tongue at him and wrapped her hands around Zulaid's arms.
"You must be tired. You want to have food or should I make you milkshake? I have already prepared fruit chat" She gave him many options to choose.
"Fruits will be good" He replied getting up from his place.
"Okay I will see you in a bit" Zulaid ruffled his hair before leaving for his bedroom.
"Ahh I hate you bhai! Don't touch my hair again" Hamad barked.
Zulaid's lips curled into a small smile.
After changing his clothes when he came back into the room. Inara was already waiting for him with a bowl of fruits.
"Zulaid" He called her seriously.
"Yes" He sat next to her on the bed.
"I have made my decision" She told him.
"And what's that?" He encouraged her to speak.
"I want to do dermatology" She revealed.
"Derma hmm" He nodded his head at her.
"Why Derma? I thought you wanted to leave medicine!"
"To be honest! I hate to say this but somewhere in my mind I have accepted my fate. I can't just leave medicine at this stage of my life when I don't have any other options to do and I always wanted to be a working woman I can't just leave my profession. People have other options so they leave this profession but I don't have a single option.
I don't like emergencies and complexities related to other field of medicine and Dermatology is the simplest among them. The working hours are comfortable. There won't be any calls or emergencies. I think it will suit me!" She shared her reasons with him.
"I got your point and I will support you whatsoever but you do know that for doing dermatology first you have to do internal medicine for two years" He asked.
