When I am injured

I walked down the steps of my work, ready to head on home. My day was long, but I was ready to relax and spend the evening with Koga at our apartment.Suddenly, I felt a quake underneath my feet, and I was sucked into a tornado of debris as my body could no longer withstand the shock of the explosion. Unfortunately, a piece of the building fell off in my wake and crushed my leg, rendering me unable to move for the time being. A tall man wearing silver armor walked into my view, his gaze piercing as he looked me over. "Well, hello there, little girl." He chuckled, his eyes narrowing with a mischievous glint. " You must belong to someone..." As it turned out, Koga's cosmo was imprinted on me, which the intruder noticed. "Ah, I see. Who's going to weep with grief when I kill you right here, right now?" He didn't get to find out because no sooner than when he was about to strike me, a stronger attack blew in from another direction and blasted him into a bunch of debris. I felt strong arms pick me up, and that's when I was face to face with those beloved light brown eyes I loved so much. "Koga..." I whispered quietly, smiling at him. "Sorry I didn't get here in time to save you." He said, solemnly looking down at his feet. "I was tailing Ms Saori so she wouldn't get lost on her trip to Elsyium, and I did not feel your cosmo until now." I reached a hand out and touched his face gently. "But you are here now, my love, and that is the important thing." We were  interrupted when the jerk from before pushed the piece of debris off him and glared at us. "You little brat!" How dare you attack me so harshly!"

Koga said nothing at first, his eyes narrowing as his gaze landed upon my attacker. He looked uneasily calm, and considering he was usually the first to jump into danger, the fact that he seemed lucid enough to give the bastard who tried to kill me a stare-down sent a chill down my spine. Finally, Koga spoke, a touch of venom in his tone,"How dare you try to harm my lover just to see me weep?" He seethed, seemingly clutching me tighter. Then, Koga put me down and said softly,"Go to Sanctuary. I will handle this guy. You go fix yourself up." I gave him a worried glance, my eyes glittering. "But, Koga..."  "Go." My boyfriend said firmly, staring at me with a determined look. I sighed and then gave him a kiss on his cheek. "Stay safe, my love."I will." Koga stated warmly, smiling at me, before turning around and facing his opponent.
I crawled away from the wreckage of my work and slowly ambled to my feet, not before I gave a wince of pain at my injured leg and fell back down.
Sigh. Well, if my beloved Koga could triumph against an opponent with a strong move set, then I could triumph and try to stand up. And so, I gently raised myself to my feet again, being careful not to jostle my leg. Within minutes, my injured leg and I had made it to the street where Sanctuary was. "Hey!"Koga said you needed help!" I looked up to see Souma and Ryuho running to me, expressions creased with worry. So, Koga must have let them know I was hurt. Hmph. It felt kind of nice to have someone worrying about me, even if it wasn't my boyfriend. But then again, Souma and Ryuho were two people I could trust, so I wasn't bothered by their presence. As they helped me back to Sanctuary, I smiled and glanced back at where Koga was fighting that man. Thank you, my knight. I always thought I knew everything about Koga, but I guess even then, he's still full of surprises...
