It was supposed to be mine and Koga's day off from our respective jobs. We were peacefully gazing at the river and admiring how cute our reflections were in the water. All of a sudden, Koga was contacted by his mentor Seiya, who said they needed help with a dangerous enemy that caught them off guard. So, Koga had to go save the rest of the Gold Saints, not without taking me with him since I begged him so many times to do so.
Unfortunately, we ran straight into an ambush, with Black Saints backing us into a corner. Koga wanted to beat their asses, but he knew I would get hurt in the midst of a battle, so he was forced to run away with me. "Koga, do you know where we are?" I asked in a worried tone of voice. "I do not. But we need to find a place to stay while the heat dies down." Koga amended, giving me a somber gaze. "Get the saint and the girl! Destroy them!" I heard one of the Black Saints yell. "Okay, we need to hurry up, like now!" I squeaked in terror, hugging myself and closing my eyes. All I wanted was to spend a day with my saint boyfriend. Was that too much to ask? Out of nowhere, a bunch of rocks fell down quickly, right in my direction. "Ahhh!" I cried, closing my eyes and waiting for the impact to hit. When I opened my eyes again, I patted myself down, and I had no blood on my body. Looking up, I saw Koga on top of me, his armor having blocked the rocks from hitting me. "K-Koga... You saved me!" I gasped in surprise."Of course, my love. I don't just protect Saori, you know." Koga winked at me, making me blush in reply. After he pulled me back up to my feet, we continued running away from the Black Saints. I hoped that we could make it out alive and not be killed by those nasty jerks. As soon as we rounded the corner, I heard someone shout,"Die, lover of Pegasus!" And then it all went dark after that. The last thing I remember was one of those black saints running up to me, and I suddenly felt the cold blade of a sword poke through my chest. "Koga!" I called out, eyes watering. I didn't want to die here... not without Koga.My boyfriend turned around, and his eyes widened. "No!" The black saint pulled his sword out of my chest, and I fell to the ground, blood spilling from my chest and onto the ground. Koga was beside me instantly, cradling my body to his chest. "I beg you, my love, don't die on me!" Koga whimpered, his eyes watering with panicked tears. "K-Koga....I love you. Don't forget my love....d-don't forget about me." I coughed out some blood and held Koga's hand. He gripped it tightly, tears starting to stream down his cheeks. "I won't forget you...my love."I'll always be with you, Koga. Always." I sighed, tears running down my cheeks as I smiled up at my boyfriend. With Koga by my heavenly side, I was ready to be at peace in the afterlife. I began to close my eyes, and the last thing I saw in front of me was Koga. It was then I went limp in Koga's arms, my last moments shared with the one I loved most in all the world."No....N-No!" Koga cried, bursting into tears and holding me to his chest as he wept into my shoulder. He didn't know how long he was sitting there clutching my body, but Koga was not focused on anything else but me. I had been killed on his watch, and there was nothing else Koga could have done, but watch me die in front of him. Koga kept sobbing, still in shock over what happened, but at the same time, berating himself mentally for not being there for me. It seemed like an eternity had passed, but Koga eventually stopped crying and raised his head slowly off my shoulder. His eyes narrowed as he caught the cosmo of the man who killed me, and like a flash, the darkness cosmo sprung forward from Koga's body. One thing was for certain, Koga wasn't about to let my killer get away that easily. I had warned him in the past to be careful with his darkness cosmo, but Koga thought now was an appropriate time to use it on my cruel executioner, to punish him for killing me. As Koga put me down, a single grief-stricken tear dripped down his cheek. With haste, Koga gingerly wiped it away, having more important things to focus on at the moment. It turns out my killer was a low ranker, so Koga was able to beat him pretty damn quickly. After the battle, Koga buried me underground, where my body could be secure and stay fresh. Tears running down his cheeks, Koga prayed for the gods to go easy on me, as I was a kind, innocent soul, who deserved nothing more than love and warmth. Koga stayed there for hours, hoping that one day he would see me again in the afterlife and we would be together for a millenia. My boyfriend misses me every day, but in his fights, Koga made sure I was not forgotten....
