When I died in his arms

It was supposed to be a calm day today. Nothing foreshadowed the tragic events that would happen later on. All I know is I was walking back to my apartment when I felt a small quake on the ground. That quake got stronger, and I was blasted hard into a wall. I winced, rubbing my head in pain as a man walked up to me. He was dressed head to toe in silver armor, and his head was only slightly visible under a dented mask. I stood up and, without thinking, ran away quickly, making the man smirk. "You think you can run from me? I can sense where you are, girlie!" I breathed heavily as I ran, not even caring where I went as long as I was away from that guy. Either way, I had to buy time until Koga and the others showed up to fight this clown. "Come out, come out, wherever you are!" The man sang, launching attacks at me and nearly missing thanks to the alleyway I was in. As soon as I got out of the alley, I heard,"There you are!" And I was struck through the chest with a sharp rock. I cringed in pain, holding my side as I struggled to walk to the apartment from here.Ultimately, I fell over and coughed up some blood, holding my legs up to my chest as the man drew closer. "Are you ready to face your demise now, girlie?" He whispered deviously, and I covered my eyes, waiting for my imminent death. It was then I felt a powerful light cosmo and uncovered my eyes as I laid them upon Koga, his aura stronger and brighter than I'd ever seen. I tried to call out his name, instead, coughing up blood, making my boyfriend worry. "Do not talk! I will bring you to a doctor!" Koga said, frantically picking me up and cradling me close. The man mocked Koga from behind and said that I would not last the whole journey, so he better give up now and hold onto me while he still could.Despite this, Koga was determined to get me help, his eyes watering at the fact that I might not make it out of this. "We have the best doctors at Sanctuary! If they could help us, they can help you!" Koga assured me, but his eyes betrayed uncertainty and sorrow. The longer Koga walked, the more I felt my strength decrease. I knew that I was dying of blood loss, something not even a powerful saint like Koga could prevent from happening. Koga knew that as well, which is why he was using all of his power to keep me alive. I sighed and cleared my throat deeply."Koga..." I whispered, making him stop and turn to me with sad, melancholy eyes. If there was any doubt in my mind, I would rather die in Koga's arms than near some damp alleyway. "I love you...Koga." I whispered, tears flooding down my cheeks. He bit his lip as tears welled up in his eyes. Then he cradled me in his arms and fell to his knees, laying his head upon my heart. "I love you more than anything in the world, my love." Koga sobbed, tears running down his cheeks as he stroked my face gently, trying in vain to keep me from closing my eyes. "Koga?" I asked, reaching my hand out and touching my beloveds face. "Y-Yes?" Koga asked, futily trying to keep the tears away with his left hand even though they still fell. "Stay with me, please?" I whimpered in pain as the blood gummed up in my throat, and I coughed most of it out. That was something that Koga could promise me. Dead or not, he'd stick by my side always, and there was no question he'd be there to support me through it all. As my eyes closed and I fell victim to the darkness and my heart embraced the chill of death, Koga wept on my chest and promised from Heaven and Hell above that he would continue to stay with me. Even after the guy who killed me was defeated by Ryuho and Haruto, Koga returned to Sanctuary with my bloody corpse in his arms. He couldn't bear to part with me, and despite being dead, I did not want to even think of leaving Koga either. That was why even when I was buried deep underneath the ground, Koga was there to pray for me to find happiness and peace with the gods above. My knight was determined to keep his promise, and I would not have it any other way......
