A couple of weeks have passed since Nari’s birthday party. I have barely spoken since. I have barely eaten. I was a robot at this point. I go to work and come home to just shut myself in my room. Jimin has blocked my phone number, Taehyung refuses to speak to me, and Jiyoo has vanished. She hasn't tried to contact Nari or myself. Nari has been cooking small meals and leaving them on my desk. She has tried to force me out of my room, but I become dead weight every time she tries. Tears don't fall anymore. I have none left, and I wanted to stop feeling sorry for myself. I shouldn't pity myself when I did far worse to Jimin. Jungkook says he has thrown himself into his dances and lives at the studio now. Taehyung is working out more and refuses to acknowledge he knows me.
Suddenly, my door is thrown open, and a large Jungkook dressed in black baggy jeans and a black t-shirt walks towards me. I sit up partially and squint my eyes at him. “Jungkook?”
He doesn't say anything and just throws me over his shoulder. I don't even fight. I didn't have the energy to fight him. He is a man of pure muscle, and I would probably just hurt myself trying to get away.
Jungkook sets me down on the couch. Nari is sitting on the coffee table in front of me now. Jungkook sits next to her, and both just stare at me. I raise my eyebrows and glance back towards my bedroom. “Don't even think about it.” Jungkook warns.
I roll my eyes and just fall down on my side. I bring my knees to my chest and let out a sigh.
Nari climbs down and sits on the ground. We are face to face. “Nalia. I am worried about you.” I don't respond. “Nalia. Please talk to me. I know you are hurting.”
I shake my head. “I don't deserve to be hurting. I hurt Jimin.”
Nari tucks a strand of hair behind my ear. “Nalia you are allowed to hurt. It shows that you regret what happened. You didn't want to hurt Jimin, and now the guilt is eating away at you. Have you weighed yourself recently? You look really skinny.”
My ears perk up at that. “Really?”
Nari smacks my arm. “That's not a good thing, Nalia. You look sick.”
“When I picked you up, it was like you were a feather. Nari has more meat on her bones.” Jungkook chimes in.
“Good that means the diet worked.” I close my eyes, ignoring the pain in my stomach.
“Nalia, you don't need to diet. You have always been curvy.” Nari smiles. “I have always been jealous of it. I can never gain weight.”
I raise my head at her comment. “You want to be fat?”
Nari smacked me again, but harder. “You are not fat. I would rather not be pencil thin. Nalia, you have red hair, green eyes, freckles, and boobs. Every girl wants to be you. Why do you think brown haired people always dye their hair?”
“I would rather look like you.” I mumble.
“Nalia we are all gorgeous. Now you need to get up and take a shower. We have somewhere to be this evening.” Nari stands up and pokes my side.
I turn my head into the couch. “Where do you want me to go?”
“We have a dance showcase to go to.”
My eyes go wide, and I sit up slowly. “Jimin’s show case is tonight?” Nari and Jungkook nod. “No I can't go. I shouldn't see him.”
“What if I tell you he added a routine, and it is about you?” Jungkook raises an eyebrow.
I narrow my eyes. “What is the song called?”
“Like Crazy.”
