Vanessa Morgan as River Josephine Swan who's is 18 years old, a lieutenant Commander in the army, she left her home in Phoenix to join the army at 16 years old, she got her dad to sign her up for the army and she served for two years, then she came back home for holidays and got pregnant at the age of 17 and had her son and daughter Madison and Maddox then a year later after her son was one she went back to the army and served more only for her and her platoon to get ambushed and her taken and beaten for information, then she got sent home again for medical leave where she stayed in forks with her father Charlie Swan.
