The Olympics were being hosted in Japan that year, and Zarc decided to take some vacation days to watch them from home. It was a shame Duels weren't part of the Olympics, but maybe someday they would be.

Yuto, Yuri, and Yugo didn't seem to be too interested in watching the Olympics, but Yuya seemed to be fascinated by them. It made sense, with how physically gifted and active the little tomato was. Zarc was still sure that Yuya would take an interest in at least one athletic activity.

He appeared to have his suspicions confirmed when he came back from the bathroom to find Yuya attempting to do a somersault along with the Olympic gymnasts on the TV. He was actually able to do a very good somersault on his second try, and Zarc clapped for him. Yuya jumped and looked up at his father in surprise, then giggled and began hopping. He pointed excitedly at the TV gymnasts. "Want! Want!"

"You wanna do that? You wanna do gymnastics?" Zarc asked, smiling at Yuya. Yuya nodded excitedly, still hopping.

"I knew you'd be a lil athlete!" Odd-Eyes cooed, picking Yuya up and cuddling him. Yuya nuzzled the dragon's chin happily.

"I wonder if there are any other sports Yuya would like?" Starve Venom mused from the floor where he had Yuri in his lap. Yuri looked up from the toddler book he was reading at the dragon's voice, then squeaked angrily at the sudden lack of Starve Venom attention he was experiencing. He reached up and tugged Starve Venom's head, trying to get his attention. The dragon chuckled. "Aw, do you want more attention?"

He kissed Yuri's cheek, and the tiny cabbage toddler calmed down, letting out a happy coo as he went back to his book. Yuri was probably the smartest of the four toddlers, already being able to read small words and short sentences. Yuto was learning letters, but he couldn't read yet. Meanwhile Yugo and Yuya weren't quite as far along as either of their brothers.

Zarc still cursed the babysitter that he'd made the mistake of hiring. He was certain that had she not shaken his babies, Yugo and Yuya would probably be at least learning letters too. They had been smart enough to say their first words much sooner than the average baby, and had no doubt been very intelligent. The father really wished he hadn't settled for the deal that the babysitting agency had offered him. But at least he knew now that the babysitting agency had reported that horrible woman to the police, and she was now in jail.
