It was finally the babies' birthday, and Zarc had decided to throw a little party for them with just their little family. They were only a year old, so they didn't really have anyone from the daycare that they were really friends with yet. Perhaps next year they would have a few friends or playmates that could be invited. But this year it was just going to be Zarc, the dragons, and the babies.

Zarc had made a beautiful little chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream, and there was a little candle in the shape of a 1 on top. Yuto had been in the kitchen while Zarc was making the cake, clinging to his leg as he watched his daddy cooking. The tiny eggplant seemed to be very interested in cooking, or at the very least in watching people cook.

As soon as the cake was ready, the dragons gathered the babies into the dining room to sing Happy Birthday to them. The tiny babies were very excited, especially Yuya and Yugo who were wiggling in Clear Wing and Odd-Eyes' arms and trying to reach for the many, many birthday presents that were piled around the dining room. Most of them had been sent by Zarc's fans.

"Happy Birthday to youuuuuu!~" Zarc and the dragons sang. They gave their babies some straws to help them blow out the candle on the cake, cheering when the flame went out. Yuri immediately made grabby hands for the cake. "CAKE! CAKE!"

Zarc chuckled and cut four little pieces of the cake for his babies. They all giggled excitedly and happily began munching the delicious birthday cake. Each of them got frosting and chocolate cake crumbs all over their faces. "You boys will need a bath before you open your presents," Zarc chuckled, getting some vanilla ice cream out of the freezer. Each of the babies got to have a little scoop, fed to them by the dragons.

"I don't think they need a whole bath," Dark Rebellion said. "Just a little bit of face and hand cleaning."

Zarc examined his boys, then nodded. "I think you're right. I'll get the baby wipes." He grabbed the pack in the dining room and cleaned the boys up after their ice cream. After about five minutes, the boys were as good as new.

Then it was time for the presents. All four of the boys were super excited to rip the paper off their gifts and see what they got. There were so many new toys, toddler books, toddler activities, clothes, shoes, and more. As Zarc and the dragons watched the little ones opening their birthday gifts, they all smiled. The kids were squealing and shrieking in excitement at all their presents.

Zarc thought back on how the boys had come into his life a year ago. And he was so happy that they had. He loved his boys very much. He wouldn't trade them for the world!
