Si-Oh pressed on the brakes and the car halted infront of the farmhouse. His heart heavy, shattered and writhing in pain.

He still couldn't believe the casket which he helplessly watched sliding into the crematorium belonged to Binbin.

He put his head over the steering wheel and let the tears fall.

One after another.

He wailed in pain.

The car enclosing him, started to suffocate him. He opened his eyes and got out of the car, fresh air of the hills and trees hitting his face.

He watched the sun rising back in the sky.

' There is one thing that still makes me happy. Sun rise. It's like the nature telling us, darkness always end in light. '

But the darkness his absence had left will never end in light.

Si-Oh didn't lose his trusted ally last night, he watched one of his strength crumble into ashes. And he could do nothing about it.

All because of that one bastard.

He nearly lost Namsoon.

He lost his bestfriend.

He had a horrible childhood.

He was abused.

Turned into a devil.

Killed people.

Funded the research of a lethal drug.

All because of the self centred, narcissistic, psychotic bastard.

And the list didn't just ended with him.

He couldn't even love the child he had hold in his arms for years.

What a rotten trash.

Si-Oh wiped his cheeks, as he felt the devil surface once again, which her presence had tamed.

' I will kill for one last time. I will make sure even your departing soul fears my name. ' His jaw flexed as he gritted his teeth, tightly holding on the key of his car. His eyes focused on the emptiness in front of him, as thoughts of torturing Namsoon's father ran inside his mind.

Si-Oh came back to present, when he heard the sound of glass breaking inside the house.

He realised he had left Namsoon alone here while he was in a hurry to save Binbin.

' Fuck ! ' Si-Oh ran towards the entrance of the farmhouse and as he pushed open the door, he saw her in a miserable state for the first time.

She looked broken.

She was terrified.

She was crying.

The woman he had always praised and loved for her unwavering courage was sitting infront of him, in an unrecognised way.

' Nam..Namsoon ? ' He called, closing the door behind him.

Namsoon took a deep breath and looked at him, sheer anger replacing every emotion in her.

She got up from the floor and walked furiously towards him at such a speed, he didn't had a minute to gauge the situation.

He felt her palm crashing down over his right cheek. Pain jolted through his nerves as he got slapped by her.

She pulled him towards her by his collar, her lips inches away from his.

' HOW COULD YOU LEAVE ME ALONE ? HERE ? LOCKED IN THIS FUCKING HOUSE ?! ' Namsoon screamed at him.

' DO YOU HAVE ANY FUCKING IDEA HOW SCARED I WAS ? YOU MARRIED ME, FUCKED ME BUT WHEN I NEEDED MY HUSBAND , YOU FUCKING HAD THE AUDACITY TO LEAVE ME ALONE ?! ' She shook him by his collar and tears rolled down her face once again.

Si-Oh wrapped his arm around her waist, supporting her weak body.

' I am sorry ' He whispered.

And another slap landed on his face.

Si-Oh sighed, rubbing his cheek. It was stinging in pain.

' DON'T YOU DARE TO APOLOGIZE ! ' Namsoon warned, placing her palm over his chest and pushing him away from her.

He grabbed on her arm and pulled her back toward him.

' Can you listen to me for once ? ' He asked, caressing her face and wiped off the tear from her face with his thumb.

' No. I will divorce you as soon as I reach Seoul. I have called Mr.Kang. He will be here in an hour, then I will leave. ' She whispered against his chest and walked away, as Si-Oh's grip loosened.

Namsoon went inside the washroom and undressed herself.

She pressed on the shower and the water started to fall down over her .

She sat on the floor as the memories of growing up with her father started to flood her mind.

Pack lunch for her. Buying her favourite dishes. Waking up her every morning for school. Spending weekends, trekking and camping. Set up a mosquito net because she was allergic.

Could all of that be a play of false affection ?

No.

Namsoon shook her head.

She needs to call him up and talk with him.

Maybe she had heard it wrong. Two person can sound same, right ?

But then, the memories of when he would disappear for weeks without telling anything started to make sense to her right now. He would give excuses of trekking but all of that was a lie.

She laughed at herself, beating her palm over the floor.

' What a fucking circus my life has turn out to be ' Namsoon whispered to herself.

She closed her eyes and leaned over the wall, as the water from the shower crashed over her naked body providing her with some kind of relief. She slowly started to fall asleep, the only way she knew to cope with severe pain.

Because all the questions she had for her mother for years, now she was afraid of finding answers to them.

She was afraid the only part of her childhood which she could live happily, would become a lie and disappear.
