' I will not abort my baby. ' A woman in her twenties sobbed.

' Please listen to me. ' The man kneeled infront of her.

' I am not letting you go. But this is not the right time to have a child. ' He said.

The woman looked at him, angrily and stood up.

' Fine ! You can follow your dreams and I will raise my child ! ' She said and walked towards the door of their classroom.

' No..Please listen to me '

___________

'Please. '

Mr Kang mumbled.

' Please listen to me '

He shook his head, clutching on the picture tightly.

He couldn't breathe as he watched her leave him, once again with his child.

Mr. Kang grasped on the sides of the chair and his slumber broke, pushing him back into the harsh reality.

He breathed deeply, trying to calm himself.

A lone tear rolled down his face.

Mr.Kang wiped it off and looked at the crumbled memory in his hand.

She had kissed his cheeks just when the photographer had clicked on the camera. He was so embarassed !

It had been decades since he had her in his dreams or brought this picture out of the box.

He couldn't marry anyone, ever. But he knew, she did.

She had got married, birthed their child.

Back then, he had choose his ambitions over her so he never made an attempt to connect back with her except for that one time he had come face to face with her in a dining restuarant, where he had part timed as a worker. She was there with her husband and a baby in her arms, giggling over something. The guilt and regrets he felt that day, had gripped his heart for his entire life.

Even till some hours ago, he had hold on to the same belief he did for years that she was happy with her family.

Until he ordered for a background check on Namsoon's father, after he found out about Binbin's death and Si-Oh had requested him to trail her father at the funeral.

But the moment he had opened the file, the passport photo on the right corner of it crashed his world in seconds.

Mr Kang's hands started to trembled in fear, as he recognise the familiarity between her husband and Namsoon's father in the file opened on his desk. There were wrinkles now, the hair had turned grey but he could never forget the man - the only human, he had been jealous of his entire life.

This, also meant she was....

No !

Mr Kang closed his eyes, shaking his head to get the panic attack that was slowly crawling up his nerves.

He had looked at the moon in the night sky for years, hallucinating about her presence by his side.

Each time he had dinner, he would dream about her sitting across the table and watching him eat.

Even this cannot be taken away from him.

Mr Kang wiped the tear pooling in his eyes, giving himself a chance to doubt - maybe he was wrong.
