Wren managed to force his eyes open, the flames fading away from his vision he could still taste that horrible chemical. He was being dragged down a hallway that was a sickening pristine white that blurred his vision. Wren's legs were bound dragging along the floor, there were 2 humans in military uniform holding his arms up, his other 2 bound behind his back.

Reality hit him. Wren tried to shout something but he was gagged.

Something rose within him as he saw a pair of double doors coming closer, the scraping sound of his talons on the floor driving him insane.

Hiss

The doors opened and they threw Wren in. Struggling he tried to stand but his legs were bound and numb, he couldn't use his teeth being gagged and to top it all of his hand were put into small leather bags he couldn't cut through.

Fuck.. I'm screwed.. [redacted] where are who when I need you?

Wren looked to his Seeking eye, it was shut possibly drugged he sighed waiting for something to happen, anything to—

"AHHHHGHH!" Wren screamed into the gag a a horrible static sound consumed him he desperately tried to cover his ears, pupils thin slits.

The noise was coming from his Seeking eye, it was unbearable. Wren tried to free his other set of arms to stab into his Seeking eye, it was so.. loud. Wren was too busy clutching his head and screaming to notice someone had entered the room.

Click

The static stopped and Wren let his hands fall to the floor, he looked her his shoulder at the person who had walked in.

It was a Seeker, truth or Lies? He couldn't tell without his Seeking eye.

It was a girl around 16. She had navy blue hair and the same horns as Nova that dipped in and up except she had four, she had neon green eyes or eye she only had one, the other eye was replaced by a robotic one. Half of one of her ears was torn of the other had a small black hoop handing from it. Her fur was pale very pale almost white similar to the other one he had encountered could they be related? No, she looked concerningly like him. She was wearing a laboratory gown that split at the waist and fell near each of her ankles and a stained brown shirt. Her trousers curled up neatly before touching the ground. She had two tails each with a frill that came under patterned with a similar navy blue and neon green. A concerning note to add, her Seeking eye appeared to be sewn shut.

She walked up to Wren and kicked him in the gut. Wren wheezed all the air left his lungs. He pushed his knees to his chest and tried to raise his hands in defence, a desperate attempt to save himself.

She kept on kicking him, Wren couldn't remember when he gave up but he left his hands fall to his sides as the coppery taste of blood filled his mouth.

Wren looked at the girl, she was smiling, it was a warm smile you could convince him it was genuine.

The kicking stopped and she pulled out his gag and untied his legs.

"Hello there," She paused pulling something out of her lab coat and reading it.

"Ehem- let's try again. Hello Wren."

Wren tried to say something, he could only wheeze as blood trickled from his mouth.

"Poor thing can't speak?" She knelt down to look him in the eyes.

"Here let me help you up," She sneered holding out a hand, Wren wearily grabbed her hand and shrieked when she dug her talons into his scar, nevertheless pulling him to his feet.

"You're from the western village aren't you? Or should I say..."

Wren couldn't cry, not now.

"That pit to hell, I heard there are still flames there that refuse to do out!" The girl sneered.

She laughed, she fucking LAUGHED. Wren balled his hands into fists as he ran towards her. The Girl simply stepped to the side and tripped Wren with one of her tails. The floor was cold, but all Wren could feel was an undying rage, he lay still for a moment letting her come back to him she came to grab him by the back of his shirt. Wren spun around kicking her in the chest. She seemed shocked for a moment, but she recovered fast and stomped her foot down on his chest. Wren gasped feeling the air leave his lungs a faint crack and a wave of pain wash over him.

"Your so pathetic, how did you manage to survive that explosion?"

"You can't even land a strike properly. She spat.

"Why do you care!" Wren shouted gaining his strength back.

"What's your name anyway!"

"What is it with people and names, Echo is my name," Echo said pressing her foot down on Wren's chest harder

Wrens Seeking eye shot open.

Pure white.

That's when it happened she was there again, the woman from the fire she was hovering next to Echo she came up to Wren and held his face in her hands

'You are strong'

Wren imagined she said but it was the hum coming from his

Seeking eye which was giving of a faint glow from under Echo's foot. Suddenly he felt more hands push his as he heaved Echo's foot of his chest, his Seeking eye was pure white.

Wren wished he could say Echo looked shocked, but she just smiled, she pulled out a knife eye widening as she walked towards Wren. Wren braced himself but the blow never came, instead Echo's robotic eye beeped and she gasped and exited the room. After that Wren passed out the woman from before standing above his body.
