Two Girls in West Egg

Chapter 31:Movie Night-Part 1

Basically everybody's together now. Me and Nick, and Karmen and Gatsby. Nobody really officially asked anybody out, it was just an unspoken thing. The two together just knew and went with it.

One of my favorite things about being with Nick were the surprise kisses. I could just be sitting somewhere not really doing anything, then
and all of a sudden I would feel a warm kiss on my cheek. Whenever I felt this, I would turn and smile at Nick, then kiss him back.

Karmen and Gatsby were the same way. It's always so cute to see Gatsby treat Karmen like a princess and spoil her. It's also good to see Gatsby not looking to Daisy anymore.

Everybody's happy.

Tonight, Gatsby, Nick, Karmen, and I planned to watch a movie together. Right now, it was late afternoon, so Karmen and I were getting everything ready, along with the butlers and maids.

"I'm so excited for tonight!" Karmen exclaimed to me. I laugh.

"You just want to cuddle with Gatsby." I say with a smirk.

Karmen laughed. "Yeah, that's true. But you know you want to do the same thing with Nick." she says with a smug look.

I send her a small smile. "Maybe......." I say trailing off. Karmen laughs again.

Before anything else is said, Gatsby suddenly walks in. He immediately goes over to Karmen and hugs her, while kissing her forehead. Karmen smiles big and hugs him back.

I would have awwwwed, but I didn't want to ruin the moment.

Gatsby still holds Karmen's waist and asks, "How are you darling?" Karmen nods while saying, "I'm good."

Gatsby then nods and seems to finally notice that I'm there too. He smiles in my direction. "Hello darling, I didn't see you there."

I smile back. "Hi Gatsby."

After that, nothing really happened. Karmen and I just went and changed into our pjs. Mine was a long-sleeved Mickey Mouse shirt and some grey short shorts. Karmen's was a long-sleeved shirt with the word love on it with a heart and some Abercrombie short shorts.

Once we finished changing, me and Karmen walked down to the living room, since that was where we would be watching the movie. A little while after we sat in the living room, there was a knock on the door. I quickly got up and ran to the door.

As soon as I opened the door I jumped into the arms of Nick. He held my waist tight and buryed his head into my shoulder. This was a normal thing to do for us. lol.

We soon pulled away. Nick then looked at me and kissed me. I smiled into the kiss. After we pulled away for the second time, I grinned at him.

"Hi." I said.

Nick chuckled and entwined our fingers together. "Hi." he said back.

I look down at our hands and smile. When I look back up, I see Nick is already looking at me.

He leaned his head against mine. "I love you." he whispered softly. "I love you too." I say back. I then pull him inside and close the door behind us.

Nick and I walked hand-in-hand to the living room. On our way there, I saw Carmine in the kitchen out the corner of my eye. He saw me and smirked. He ships Nelsey so hard.
