The sound of a shower filled a large marbled bathroom, as a single shilouette was visible behind a foggy pane of opaque glass. Wet read hair clung to porcelain white skin while suds slipped down supple breasts with an occasional stream of water shooting off of pink pert stiff nipples.

A pair of single pair hands moved across a slim stomach, and around wide hips leaving a trail of soap everywhere it went. It danced around glistening wet thighs, before going around a large but shapely toned pair of ass cheeks.

Rias Gremory ran her manicured fingers through locks of lashes red hair. Her eyes focused on the water swirling at her feet before going down the drain while the look on her face painted a picture of melancholy.

Her mind wandered into dark territory constantly in situations like these. The brief moments of sadness dancing with flashes of rage, the intrusive thoughts that she could end everything with a single action.

Now, most of those who knew Rias would tell you that she was the epitome of high class, and regality stemming from a life time of etiquette classes with her mother. The fact that she was the current heir to a house belonging to the upper echelon of the 72 pillars that existed in devil society created an air of importance and duty both of which were slowly tightening like a noose around her neck.

Its uncommon for a devil of any sort of rank or title to spend more than a few days on earth, but for some reason Rias had chosen to leave the underworld to attend a human school alongside the very creatures her kind was accused throughout history to manipulate.

But to her fellow students at Kuoh Academy, Rias is considered to be one of the Four Queens. A title which did little to comfort a girl trying to run from such titles, however titles were not the only thing she was running from.

In actuality it was the smallest catalyst. The biggest thing was control or in her situation the lack of be it from her daily schedule being micromanaged by her mother, the diet she ate on a daily basis, or even the man she was meant to marry.

Heh, marriage.

Rias wouldn't ever let it slip but a select few in the underworld know that she was in fact the other half of an arranged marriage. One that was facilitated by her father as a part of her duty to continue the race of Pure Blood Devils. A sect of their species which was on the decline due to low birth rates, so the noble sector rattled their brains in search of a solution.

Rias wasn't opposed to the idea of marrying a devil. Hell it was the most likely scenario that would've played out if her father wasn't trying to pull on her strings like a puppeteer. But she wanted to find her soul mate someone that would see her for more than just her status and title. There was nothing more than she wanted then to have her chance at falling in love the awkward glances in the halls, the cute little dates where she would show up early just to make sure she was late.

She wanted a pure teen romance.

But that was impossible as she was sold to the highest bidder with her father acting as her auctioneer.

She tried fighting it but it didn't matter she kept getting the same answer and over again.

"It's best for the house, our race, and its your duty as the heir."

For the longest time after learning her fate Rias refused to leave her room, she refused to shower for days on end being forcibly dragged to the bathhall by her maids, she even refused to eat which did end up with some medical intervention.

She was in a downward spiral, and a deep-seated depression that worried her friends, and her brother but no matter how much she became reclusive her father never budged or back tracked on his choice.
