Where's daddy

Angela had dropped off the kids early the next morning the kids were excited to see both their parents but to their surprise they saw their mommy with red eyes from all the crying

A- Lucy are u ok what did he do
L- come in
Angela went to go sit down on the couch
Alexis- mommy are you ok
Lucy heard those words and it broke her heart because how was she going to tell explain to her 5 year old daughter what's going on
L- yes baby I just got hurt
Alexis- oh ok
Austin - mommy
L- yes baby
Austin- where's daddy
Lucy froze at those words Lucy has been calling and texting Tim all night but he hadn't answered
L- he went into work early today and I don't when he's going to be home
She said with her voice cracking and a few tears forming
L- babies go play and brush y'all's teeth while I talk with y'all's auntie and make breakfast
Both- Okk
The kids go to their bathroom to get ready for the day
A- Lucy wth is going on
L- last night during " date night" we were abt to eat and then Tim got a call a went outside to take it and he was taking a while so I went to go check and his truck wasn't there
A-have u tried calling
Before Angela could finish Lucy raised her voice and said
L- YES ANGELA I'VE CALLED AND TEXTED
A-Lucy do not take that tone with me just because he's missing
L- I'm sorry it's just the kids and I we love him so much I don't know what we would do without him
She said crying
A- ok you're taking the day off I'll call Sargent grey for you
L-thank you
Lucy said in between sniffles
Angela calls grey
G- detective Lopez what can I do for you
A- hi Sargent Lucy needs the day off today
G- ok is everything okay
A- yeah just personal stuff
G- ok she gets today off
A- ok thank you sarg
Angela goes back to Lucy
A- want me to make the kids breakfast
L- no you have your own kids it's ok thank you so much
A- for what
L- for being here for me
A- that's what family's for right
L- yep
A- ok how about I tell Wes to bring jack and Erin over so the kids can have a play date while we watch tv and eat ice cream all day
L- omg yes
So that's what they did all day
A- jack Erin come let's go y'all's aunt has to go to work tomorrow
L- tysm Ang Lexie and Austin had so much fun
