Demon Giyuu Tomioka

Chapter 4: The Water Demon

Earlier before..

Tanjiro and Sanemi was on their way to Mountain Kumotori.. finally not onto each other's throats for now.

"I'll give you that.. it a good idea to bring Giyuu's crow for this." Tanjiro spoke while carrying it. "But you did not have to suddenly kidnap it like that..! you made it go in distress." Tanjiro replied.

"Just shut up and keep going. Kagaya is supposed to send us the day Giyuu was announced dead because this corp was made to take down Muzan. We NEED to find Muzan and end this." Sanemi replied.

"But do you even bother how strong Muzan might be?.. Master Urokodaki mentioned demons can be stronger way beyond to extent.." Tanjiro was curious.

"And do you want to sit there and not to take any actions and let this man continue to get stronger right after he murdered your friend?" Sanemi replied.

Tanjiro did not have anything to say.. Sanemi was right.

Kanzaburo was smelling something nearby.. it familliar.!

"Right! rii-iiiiight!" Kanzaburo quickly got off Tanjiro's grasp to chill on his shoulder.

"Then this is it. Let go!" Tanjiro spoke but he spoke too soon. Sanemi went ahead of him as soon Kanzaburo announced the way.

"Hey wait up! we are supposed to work together!" Tanjiro tried to catch up to Sanemi.

Sanemi ran ahead, annoyed with the snowstorm.

Tanjiro suddenly picked up a familliar smell while he was chasing after Sanemi.. it Giyuu!

Tanjiro is not prepared to find his friend's corpse lying on the floor but at least.. he can bury him like he buried his family during the incident.

When Tanjiro finally caught up to Sanemi he was confused on why he stopped as he was panting taking his breath. When he finally stood up he saw Sanemi's eyes widdened. He was confused so he looked infront of him.

What he has seen..

"Giyuu!" Tanjiro tried to run towards to his friend to help him, but Sanemi stopped him.

"What are you doing?" Tanjiro tried to fight out of Sanemi's grasp.

"Kagaya said hes dead. His crow said hes dead." Sanemi replied.

Giyuu put his hand on the tree to lift himself up. He slowly came out in plain sight.

Both Tanjiro and Sanemi were shocked.

Giyuu lifted his face up to show unhuman traits. 

Giyuu wasn't dead.

He was turned into a demon.

The water drops that been floating around him shaped into sharp spears aiming towards the two slayers.

"Watch out!" Sanemi grabbed Tanjiro out of the way. Giyuu missed his attacks.

"Giyuu what happened to you..?!" Tanjiro could not hold his tears.

"How.. do you know me.." Giyuu lifted his hand up pausing his attacks.

"Come on.. it me.. Tanjiro!" Tanjiro stood up. "You helped me and Nezuko..!" 

Sanemi quickly got in the way to slash an incoming sharp spear that was thrown directly at Tanjiro.

"You're trying to let my guard down.. enough with the tricks.." Giyuu spoke. He may not recognize Sanemi anymore but he knows this is a hashira with a bad temper.
