Demon Giyuu Tomioka

Chapter 6: He Is Not Dead

Sanemi and Shinobu were both walking.

"So how do we tell them?" Shinobu asked.

"What with you and that big nose asking question like these? Just tell them Giyuu was turned into a demon." Sanemi growled.

"Don't forget the part you and Tanjiro snuck off without telling anyone and you two were lucky to make it out alive from what you two told me about the encounter with Giyuu." Shinobu was unamused as she stared at Sanemi.

Sanemi remained silent until the two spotted Mitsuri talking to Obanai.

"Let just get this over with.. I will send the crow to send the message to master Oyakata." Sanemi whistled.

"Alright.. now that the others will know if any of us finds Tomioka on their way they will not be tricked if he ever attempt to disguise as human like every demons." Shinobu replied.

"I will go talk to Gyomei.. can you tell the rest for me? Obanai and Mitsuri are talking while Muichiro is sitting next to a tree." Shinobu looked at Sanemi.

"Fine." Sanemi walked away leaving Shinobu.

"Hes.. been turned into a demon.?" Mitsuri widdened her eyes.

"So that traitor betrayed us?!" Obanai yelled.

"No. That nonchalant might have been turned against his will. Remember, the demon he faced on his own was Muzan. The only demon who can turn another humans into demons." Sanemi replied.

"No hashiras been turned into a demon.. They always either retire or gets killed.." Mitsuri replied.

"Whatever you say Sanemi but since hes a demon, that means hes our enemy now." Obanai crossed his arms.

"That still our comrade Obanai.." Mitsuri spoke.

"He no longer remember anything Mitsuri. That hanafuda earings kid tried to talk to him and Giyuu did not recognize him. Hes long gone and all I am telling you is that if you ever find Tomioka remember hes not human anymore." Sanemi replied.

"Got it.. do the others know?" Mitsuri asked.

"Yes. Shinobu is one her way to tell Gyomei.. all that left is that crazy child over there." Sanemi turned his head towards Muichiro who is laying next to a tree counting flower petals.

Obanai placed his hand on Sanemi's shoulder.

"Good luck buddy." Obanai walked away with Mitsuri leaving Sanemi.

"What do you mean good luck?" Sanemi asked while sweating nervously a bit.

He approached Muichiro, the mist hashira noticed the wind hashira's prescence and stood up.

He was silent.. 

"Who are you?" Muichiro asked.

"Oh for god sake-" Sanemi groaned then took a deep breath.

"All I am telling you is that GIYYU. The WATER HASHIRA, is not dead." Sanemi explained.

"But was TURNED into a DEMON." Sanemi finished.

"Who?" Muichiro asked while scratching his head.

Sanemi walked away giving no answers to Muichiro again.. he was losing his mind.

"Oh.. him.. the gloomy guy." Muichiro finally remembered then looked up and saw Sanemi was nowhere.

"What an assho-" - Muichiro

"Tomioka became a demon?" Gyomei turned his head towards Shinobu. 

"Yes Gyomei.. It seems for the first time a hashira has been turned into a demon rather than being killed." Shinobu replied.

"I'll keep this in mind.. Tomioka deserves to rest in peace rather than being used for slaughter. The nerves for Muzan." Gyomei replied, there was an angry tone in his voice.

"I believe on your theory Shinobu, Giyuu is not the type to surrender and accept becoming a demon. He always comes back doing his job right." Gyomei replied.

"Him accepting Nezuko was not for no reason, knowing him." Gyomei stood up.

"You're right. The others knows already and Sanemi sent a message to master Oyakata." Shinobu replied.

"Good. That will warn everyone that if they ever find a demon that tries to look like Giyuu, he must be put down." Gyomei spoke.

"Heh. I wish it was two different people, Himejima.. But Nezuko's case makes this theory overwhelming." Shinobu replied.

"Ah.. I remember. Nezuko is a demon yet she retained herself.. I don't think it will be the same case for Giyuu because he was gone for days." Gyomei replied.

"Who knows.. Sanemi mentioned Giyuu was strong when he faced him.." Shinobu spoke.

"I hope it not going to be a problem." Gyomei replied.

"Me too.. I don't know.. what it like to even hurt my friend.." Shinobu hesitated.

"I noticed. You always tried to give company for Giyuu.. Unlike us.. Except Mitsuri does say hello or offer him some things sometimes." Gyomei replied.

"Maybe it time for you to accept that he is completely gone. This is what we go through everyday after all.." Gyomei tried his best not to escalate things..

"I know. I won't hold back.. I'm sure that what Giyuu wants." Shinobu replied.

"Thank you for informing me Shinobu. Take care now." Gyomei replied.

Shinobu waved goodbye to Gyomei and left his area, on her way back to the butterfly mansion. She feels a bit more better now after talking to everyone. When she returned, she found everyone fell asleep.. What a long day..

"Aoi? Kanao? Naho..? Even Sumi and Kiyo? They really fell asleep." Shinobu smiled a bit. She went on to check on Tanjiro and Nezuko, finding them both sleeping together.

"Heh.. I miss you Kanae. I promise I will watch over Kanao and protect her." Shinobu smiled.

"Caw!"

"hm?"

Ubuyashiki heard the crow and turned his head towards the sound, he was a blind man after all.

"Message from the Wind Hashira, Caw!" The crow spoke.

"Shinazugawa? What is it?" The leader gently held the crow.

"Giyuu is not dead! Giyuu is not dead!"

"Giyuu is a demon! Caw! Became a demon!" The crow finally finished.

When Ubuyashiki heard Giyuu did not die, he had hope that they did not lose the water hashira, but unfortunately, his hope shattered hearing that he was turned into a demon instead..

"It can't be.. What is Kibutsuji plotting now? He never spare a slayer's life." Ubuyashiki was in disbelief.

"Not good. If he chose to keep Giyuu alive then he definetely has a new plan. I must gather all the hashiras and tell them to stay alert at all cost. This Corp might be at risk of being discovered by Kibutsuji." Ubuyashiki was in distress.. wondering how much time left he have before Muzan make his move.

"Go Sorai, I need you to gather the hashiras quick. You're the fastest crow I have." Ubuyashiki instructed.

Sorai flew really fast as if at the speed of light. It is a crow being truly agile and a good companion for Sanemi.

"It only a matter of time before Muzan might try getting informations out of Giyuu.. from how the slayers explain the demons behaviour and everything... There is no doubt Muzan will not fail." Ubuyashiki waited impatiently.. it is an urgent message.
