Best friends

When I woke up the clock read 10am and I quickly hopped out of my bed throwing my covers onto the floor as I ran to my closet. I pulled out a long sleeved green shirt and high rised jeans and I quickly slipped them on along with a neckless that has a J on it. I grabbed my roller skates and left my room quickly running down the stairs. “Where are you going” My mother asked as she sat on the couch “I’m going to bennys with Kim I will probs be out all day” “fine alright see you tonight”. “Shit I left my bag” I said to myself and quickly ran to my room to grab it “WATCH THAT LANGUAGE” my mother yelled as I ran past her to the front door once more. “Ok ok sorry I love you” I said as I quickly put my skates on “love you too stay safe” “I will” I said with a smile and left the house.

I skated down the street right past the wheelers house annd pulled up to the Sharmas house. I skate up to the door and knock 3 times before mrs. Sharma opens the door. “Good morning my love” “good morning Auntie is Kim ready” I asked her and she let me into the house. “You know kimberly always running late” she said and clicked her tongue “sit sit have you had breakfast yet” “no” I said and a plate of pancakes was shoved infront of my face and I was forced to sit down and eat.

As a shoved the fluffy pancakes into my mouth I heard my best friend come down the stairs. “Mom stop force feeding my friends” Kim told her mom as she removed the plate from infront of me “I was eating that” “we are late”. “Yeah yeah ok lets go” I said and Kim put her roller skates on “See you later Auntie thanks for the food” I said to Mrs. Sharma “Bye my love” she said with a smile and me and Kimberly left.

“So like what are we doing” Kim asked as we skated down the street “we are gonna go meet up with Tiff and then we are going to Eddie’s”. “Why can’t we get Eddie first he has a car” “Tiffany’s dad would kill Eddie if he saw him hes still mad about the fact Eddie burned his carpet last month”. “Ugh” “we will see Eddie today don’t worry your pretty little head” “shut upppp”. “I think your crush on him is adorable” “It isn’t a crush” “thats what I said about Jonathan now look at us” I said showing her the J neckless. “You and Jonathan are different he likes you back” “oh so you do like Eddie” “shut up” she said and skated down Tiffanys streat.

The two of us skated up to tiff’s house and knocked on the door loudly. “Do you think she can hear us” Kimberly asked after no one opened the door “eh I don’t know” I shrugged and knocked again. See Kimberly is an only child and I have 2 siblings but Tiffany has 7 siblings 4 brothers and 3 sisters between the ages of 17 and 4 so her house was always loud. After knocked at the door for like 5 minutes her older sister opened the door. “TIFFANY YOUR FRIENDS ARE HERE” her sister yelled and Tiffany cam running to the door with her skates in hand. “Bye Cam” Tiffany said and she stepped out her house and shut the door before turning to me and Kim.

“Where are we going” Tiffany asked as she put her skates on “we are gonna go get Eddie so he can drive us around” I told her as we started to skate once more. “Ooo we get to see your boyfriend Kim” “hes not my boyfriend” “yeah sure” both me and Tiff said. “”He likes you just so you know” I told her “yeah right have you seen me and have you seen him the fact the I like him is crazy  its like a 1 in 1,000,000 chance that he likes me back” Tiffany and I looked at eachother and sighed knowing there was nothing we could do to change her mind.

Kim, Tiff, and I have been friends since the start of middle school we had met at the roller rink right outside of town and since then we have always been friends. We met eddie when we were freshman and he was a sophomore we had met him in spanish class and we instantly clicked. Last in our friend group is my boyfriend I had met him when I moved to town the summer before middle school. Lucas and Will had met before me and jonathan did and we were forced to hang out with the two boys all summer. So when school started I had intrudused Jonathan to both Kim and Tiff and me and him started dating at the end of 9th grade.

The three of us skated up to the trailer park that Eddie and his uncle lived in. “Do you wanna knock i’m putting my shoes on” I said to both girls as I sat on the grass ad replaced my skates with shoes I had in my bag. “I’ll knock” Kim said and quickly went up to the door as Tiffany sat next to me and switched shoes as well. “Shes in love with him” “oh she totally does” I said as me and Tiff watched Kim wait for Eddie at the door. Her smile never faltered when he uncle opened the door and yelled for Eddie to bring his ass.

“I’m coming calm down” Eddie said as he came up to the door and he uncle went back into his house. “Hey girls” “Hey Eddie” us girls said before me and Tiff got up off the floor. “Do you have your keys because you’re driving us” “Tiffany said to him and he held his keys up “I call shotgun” Kimberly said and me and tiff groaned playfully.

The four of us climbed into Eddie’s car and he began to drive “so like where are we going” “Benny’s i”m starving” I complained and Eddie turned in the direction of the diner “Oh wait Eddie here” I said slipping him his box of cigarettes “you left them on friday” “oh shit sorry about that”. “It’s fine I found them not my parents” “wait Eddie was at your house and we weren’t” Kim asked with a hint of jealousy in her voice. “Hm yeah her family was out so I went over and we watched Cujo together” “oh thats just great” Kim said and tured to look out the window.

“Woah woah why weren’t we invited” Tiffany said “because I had seen yall on thursday” “hm alright next time yall hang out I wanna come” “mhmm no” both me and Eddie said and the four of us started laughing. The four of us got out the car the secound it pulled into the parking lot and we went inside the diner.
